- Feeling nostalgic? Having flash backs of grade school hot lunch? We are sharing a step-by-step guide on how to make French Bread Pizza. It turns out that making French Bread Pizza is easy, pretty cheap, and tastes even better than you remember!! It gets even better too! We are cooking our French Bread Pizza in an Air Fryer which makes enjoying these pizzas an even faster process!!
We also broke down what it costs to make French Bread Pizza at home vs. buying frozen from the store. With better ingredients we were able to make our French Bread Pizza for $1.61 a serving (1 piece of French Bread Pizza), compared to Stouffer's French Bread Pizza at $1.75 per serving.

How To Make French Bread Pizza
Prepare Bread
Cut French bread into 3-4inch sections and then in half where the soft inside of bread is exposed.
No Cook Pizza Sauce
28 oz. - Crushed Tomatoes (We used fire roasted crushed tomatoes in this recipe, but regular work just fine).
6 oz. - Tomato Paste
1 tsp - Dried Oregano
1/2 tsp - Dried Basil
1 tsp - Sea Salt
1 tsp - Sugar
1 tsp - Garlic
Stir vigorously until all ingredients are incorporated well and sauce is thick.
*Sauce can be used immediately, but has better flavor in the fridge for 1-2 hours or overnight.*
Cheese French Bread Pizza (per slice)

2 tsp - Pizza Sauce
1 oz. - Full Fat Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese

nice recipe. if you prefer a crispy french bread, i suggest toasting the bread with some garlic butter for 5 minutes or so, prior to building the pizza. then throw it back into the oven to finish. it will prevent the bread from getting soggy due to the pizza sauce / pepperoni oils.
DUDE! I'm totally gonna do this TODAY! Yep, it's happening.
Gonna get my French Bread Pizza on, brother! 🌱🍅🍕
Great to hear! Hope it turned out well for you!
Absolutely great content and explanation 👏 👌 👍

Super
Thank you!
I'm new to the air fryer oven and not a good safe cook. Which "function/setting" did you use? Air fry/roast/bake, etc. always confuse me. Also, would you suggest to toast the bread before topping it?
We typically use the air fry setting. Typically this is the hottest setting and the fan blows the heat around the oven, cooking things much faster. When using the air fry setting we recommend watching and seeing what is going on the first couple of times if you are newer to using it just so you can get a feel for how fast it actually cooks. The air bake setting works really well, but cooks things slightly slower so that is not a bad option either! I would not recommend toasting the bread first because it might dry out too much making the pizza tough to eat! Sorry for such a delayed and long winded response, but hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Great video air fryers can't be trusted I had an Emeril air fryer I had a power surge in my apartment and the air fryer started smoking so I can't trust air fryers
Sorry to hear that! We have not had any issues with the ninja, but you can always try this recipe in the oven!

Wow! Your video was 25% introduction. You need to change that if you want to be successful on UA-cam. When you post a title to a video get to the point
My exact thoughts..get on with it !
First video but thanks for watching anyways...
Typically if I can't save half the cost of making something I won't bother...
its not just about cost. it's about flavor too. Fresh will always beat frozen.
Most of the time you can beat the price of any premade with some effort. It is always going to taste way better too.
You get it!
