This looks delish! I like Ashley and her cooking a lot.
Been doing the pizza for over 2 decades. Much less expensive than store-bought or take-out, and you get to know what's in it, etc.
Get the kids to do their own slice(s)? Invite their friends over and do a personal pizza bar? Well, that was before the ick... 😷
Ahhh... some day... 👏😎👏
A dab of anchovy paste whilst melting the butter and I'm in heaven!
I make this always but I love to see ATK professional take on Anything !1💜
My daughter loves these! Thanks for sharing.
It looks fancy. Easy to do. I loved the salad. Great idea to do with "pizza"
Ashley is a treasure!
Been using quarantine to push my boundaries and experiment, but I also reeeeeally appreciate these videos on how to effectively use leftovers and spare pantry staples you might have extra of
That's so great to hear, Pete. Thank you!
I love the pizza!!!! I’ve made them about half of a dozen times and love it every time.
These recipes look great and so easy to make. Perfect to have the pizza and salad together as a meal.
Thanks , always good to have this up your sleeve . Looked great too. Keep them coming. Thanks Ashley!
loving this format
Curly girl here, and her curls are giving me life!! 🤩
I’ve done this for years! Always a hit at my house!
These two look absolutely delicious. I'll be making this!!! Thank you!
Made this a bunch of times. Instead of butter, I put olive oil on the french bread. Also, cooked it on the BBQ. Sooo goood.
I’m definitely making these !! Super cute
Eat your heart out Stouffers.
I loved the brushed on garlic butter. Yum.
I made the French bread pizza for dinner tonight and it was delicious. It was so easy to make.
I made this tonight!! So good!! Next time I might cut out 5 minutes of the cook time with the oil and butter though.. Slightly over cooked once I put the toppings on and cooked it.
"Add cheese until salivating" ❤️
Such a great idea!!
Yum. Thank you.
I’ll go buy French bread so I can make these! 😋
Love everything!!!❤️
I love this girl!
Love this video! Wow!
Looks delicious 😋😁
Super yummy!!❤
This French bread pizza is awesome!
I'm going to try the panzanella. I've tried a few that were too soggy, but this one looks much less wet than most I've seen. I'm a recent convert to peeled and seeded cucumbers. Usually I saute then in butter, but I bet they'll be good in panzanella too.
You’re so funny! And love your recipe of course!!!
Great video for real life! Great cheese, Cabot is the best!
You added pepperoni . So glad, knew you could do more than a cheese pizza. Love the show.
This would be a crowd pleaser
Nice to see that you are finally able to create content during the pandemic
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone 🍗
Been doing it for over 25yrs, but I like garlic butter on it and toast a little.
Wow she is a good cook !!!!!!!!l
AWESOME
I have been making this for many years. I have even used hot dog and hamburger buns.
Aww man..try spinach and mozerella, butter, garlic baked in the oven on the bread. Soo good!
Lovely pantry
I gained 5 pounds by just watching her make pizza!
😀😀😀😀
Agreed...but I bet it's very delicious.
I dreamily wandered into the galley; rye bread and pepperoni was all I saw
I don’t have Italian or French bread in the kitchen, so have to wait….looks yummy.
I tried the recipe and liked it. I will modify it slightly next time.
Instead of pouring on olive oil, I will turn the bread crumb side down and brush the crust with the oil. Better control, less waste.
Also, I found it difficult to get even seasoning coverage with the melted butter. Instead, I will soften the butter and create a seasoned spread, making it easier to evenly distribute the seasoning.
That's my plan, anyway. Thanks for giving me a dinner idea to use my extra pizza sauce and sausage.
Another winner, Ashley!! Thanks!! 😀👍
Hey Ms. Ashley, what would happen if we oven dried the tomatoes? I am asking only because I have never done it.
I could eat that!!!
Panzanella is so delicious, but I always get immediately hungry after a meal of it...
😋 ... maybe this weekend??
This was delicious and so cheap to make! 👍🏽
Always something good is cooking!
QUESTION: How would you make a french bread pizza with bacon & ratatouille topping without getting soggy? Would you add a layer of mozz before the sauce? Could you use herbs de provence? Thank you!!
Love these recipes. I'd add *_pain purdue._* An old baguette is great for French toast especially since you typically have every ingredient on hand...milk, eggs, sugar.
why would you ever buy frozen pizza when it's this easy to make pizza at home 🤤
True but frozen pizza is a 1 isle shop. I have a beer the oven does the work.;)
Just out of curiosity, how do you clean your brush? I hate those silicone brushes that everyone is trying to push nowadays, they just don't spread things well.
Good hot and soapy water should do the trick...I find that works better than even putting them in the dishwasher.
I make dinners like this with the kids, let em go nuts with what's around they will eat it up.
Yuummyyy
What is the temperature for the oven. Very important, please.
Heck yeah I want the Stearns bed and also some pizza please excuse me the stern & Foster advertisement
Miss Ashley's a southpaw (left-handed in baseballese). :)
Recipes look fab but I am dying to know where you got that apron!
🤗🤗🤗 It is from Alder + Co. You can also find some on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
I noticed your scallion oinions are in a jar with water...is it simple tap water or do you add anything?
Tap water!
garlic bread pizza........why has it taken 37 years for this idea to get into my head......
And for those of us who don't like olive oil or vinegar but want the dressing, how could we make the vinegret?
I have been making tosety pizza since the 70s but never put all that fat on it ( butter olive oil ) just toasted the bread and put chees , pepperoni, back pepper , tomato past , garlic , basal and oregano
This is called "hot sandwich" (meleg szendvics) and sold in every corner in Hungary, with various fillings under the melted cheese. One of the most popular is minced mushroom stew in béchamel sauce, another one is a paprikash-sausage paste, or also popular to place slices of ham on a bread that was spread with sour cream - as I mention above, the different fillings are between the slice of bread and the melted cheese. Since the fillings are not as wet as in this video the bread doesn't need to be toasted. Has anyone had a chance to try? It's divine! The closeness of Italy may have influenced the development of this pizza-like sandwich snack in Hungary. They were especially trendy in the 80s before the Iron Curtain was lifted and Western style fast food set foot in the country. If interested search UA-cam for "szoky meleg szendvics" for AUTHENTIC RETRO hot-sandwish recipes (google translator will help you with the ingredients).
Thank you for that! Sounds heavenly!
@@ashleymoore8599 Thanks Ashley for your like and reply. I have made some corrections and added more to my comment, in case you would like to see it. Be well, all the best
the salad works better if you add sum mustard to the dressing and also add feta and olives to the salad
Nice👍
i watched this
Temp for oven???
Serving size, one loaf.lol
If you do not have anchovies or anchovy paste, a couple of drops of good-quality fish sauce works, as well.
👍 🐟 👍
@Major Old Lady aka, Mom , where in world was the mention of anchovies or anchovy paste in these recipes?
@@kellycole7821 in italy they use anchovies for most tomato sauce dishes. It's a natural italian msg.
@@kellycole7821 Was in the Comments. Just thought I'd toss it out for a variation, lol.
Stay safe, ok?
@@tonytone5300 TY, from somewhere near Seattle.
@@tonytone5300 , I understand, reading can be hard. Lordy Loo! @Jeff was the one who posted the anchovy comment.
Just use spray olive oil keep the calories down.
😎
That's alot of EVOO. And then a ton of butter.
She has a wicked sunglasses tan
P
Ok, that was far more than 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Maybe 1 per piece
I think the tablespoon was referring to the one in the sauce. People usually don’t give a measurement when they say to brush with oil.
@@Appaddict01 You got it!
@America's Test Kitchen , I think that you are a bit off on your measurements (disappointing). Recipe calls for 1 ounce of grated Parmesan (1/2 cup). Even 1/2 cup powdered sugar would weigh more than an ounce.
Unless I'm packing it in pretty tight, 1 oz grated with a microplane will definitely yield 1/2 cup, easily.
@@necrojoe , you mean like the half of a tub of pre-grated Parmesan she used @4:57? I didn't even know it was possible to buy a 2oz tub of grated Parmesan. Who knew?
@@missmaam792 it's ikely the 5oz tub. She didn't use all of it, and it wasn't full to begin with. 1/2 cup weighs about 1.5 oz. Just checked mine. Same brand Bel Gioioso.
For un-grated hard cheeses like parmesan, 1 cup is equivalent to roughly 3 ounces.
Hey there! 1 ounce is in fact 1/2 cup grated Parmesan. We go by weight first, then grate the cheese. :)
Sorry no french bread pizza jokes..
They're just *too cheesy!*
Tomato sauce is cheap.....just doctor it up yourself.
I enjoyed this video and will give the pizza bread a try.
But what’s up with this channel. A cooking channel during the holiday season not airing holiday themed videos? What’s up with this?
Me: I wonder how they will improve a favorite of mine?
Paid Chef: *uses cheap, dried spices and uncooked tomatoes*
Me: I want my 14 minutes back!
I'm sorry for your loss.
Either this is an old vid/repost, or her hair grows really quickly... 😂
too much burnt cheese on the tray -wasteful, otherwise looks good
I will never buy sterns and foster anything. You are wearing me out with your adds, Enough
Once again there's an audio mastering problem on this video. Please editor, PLEASE, if nothing else, just put a low pass filter on every video before you send it out.
this is not French bread at all
