    Pollack 400g
    All Purpose Flour
    2 Eggs
    Salt and pepper
    Canola Oil
    Beef Jun
    Eye of Round Cut Beef 400g
    All purpose flour
    2 eggs
    Salt and pepper
    Canola Oil
    Blot excess moisture from beef and pollack and season with salt & pepper. Mix eggs in a bowl and prepare a pan sprinkled with a generous amount of flour. Cover each piece of beef/pollack in flour, dip in egg mixture, then fry in oil until golden brown on the outside.

    Happy Chuseok to you both! What happens when one is hooked on K-Drama’s? One only wants to eat nothing but Korean food. 😋 I love picking up the ready made fish Jeon at H-Mart. I’ve never heard of, or seen beef Jeon. I will definitely make it now…..I had no idea that it was so easy to make. I love ALL of your videos, but Chuseok at Kyuho’s grandpa’s house, are definitely among the Top 10 for me. I just love when you both spend time with your respective families.     Your dishes looks so delicious I made the battered fish for dinner, it was so good. I love Sarah ‘s snd Kyuho’s bantering , it is so natural and typical of marriages.     How is Kyuho’s grandpa doing? He must be sad that people aren’t gathering with him anymore. I like the Korean tradition of all the family members getting together.

      He’s doing really well actually :) He spends the holidays these days at his oldest son’s house with a few closer family members. It’s not safe for him at his age during this time for 16+ people to gather. The Korean tradition of huge gatherings have changed a lot and downsized over the last 5-10 years in particular-it’s a lot less stressful for everyone tbh. When so many people gather, there’s just so much food to prepare, no one can really sleep well, and traffic during the holidays is a nightmare, so it can be pretty exhausting 💦 Nowadays, grandpa’s children each visit him on a more regular monthly basis, which he seems to like a lot :)

    Jeon was featured recently in Hometown Cha Cha Cha as one of the characters had a memorial service for his deceased grandfather and it was one of the items on the table for it. Another character bought some at a stand in order to give it to him.

    Hahahah when Kyuho says, Basic knowledge, to Sarah, as a wife of over 30 years, I knew he had messed up🤣🤣🤣🤣. And she had the exact response I would have had!!! Then he made it worse with the next comment, like my husband would as well, but then as I would, Sarah sucked it up….. until… the moment will come back to haunt Kyuho, when she PMS!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Awww ...such a lovely opening with your wife. I spent hours making this with my two SIL. It was fun and we were silly as MIL supervised. 😆We love the intimacy of our family of 8.

    What a perfect video! I've been wanting to learn how to make 전. I'm curious, how long can it stay in the refrigerator after cooking and can you freeze it? Also, the 막걸리 paired with it, is that plain flavored? The only 막걸리 I've ever had was 바나나 맛 막걸리. Thank you for the amazing content as always!

      We keep the leftovers in our fridge for up to 3 days, and you can freeze them! Kyuho’s mom did that for our Chuseok this year and they stayed perfect :) Our makgeolli was the ‘chestnut’ kind-our favorite!

      @@2hearts1seoul Thank you for the information. I should try making 전 before the weather gets too cold (my landlady hates cooking smells so I need to keep the door open... she also doesn't get to taste anything I make LOL). And I'll look for the chestnut 막걸리 next time I'm at H-Mart.

      Are they ‘donggeurang-ttaeng’ (the round flat meatball-like ones)? If so, those are AMAZING 😍 They’re either minced pork or beef.

    Maybe silly question but wich part of the beef should be used for beef jeon? I m sure that probably over there you purchase it allready sliced thin, and a certain part-what shoudl we look for when purchasing the meat, wich part? Also im curious about that grill you fry the jeon on-any generic link ? Thank you-you guys crack me up and who needs Netflix when i have years of your vids to keep watching, as i recently discovered you. You made a close to vegan one crave meat, to me these seem like a less oil , simplified schnitzel, put as i said, les puffy and needs way less oil, wich is good. Stay safe guys-i love how you say ''thank you'' to eachother and are so respectful, for some this might be a little overdone but in the end little details liek this can matter a lot in a long relationship-feeling appreciated, valued and not feel liek the other person acts as entitled.

      We got our grill online on Coupang, which is kind of like Amazon in Korea. They do not ship outside of Korea unfortunately 💦

    Duuuude makgeolli is dangerous. It literally gives me the runs every single time. Like horribly. THE WORST hangovers are makgeolli hangovers. Drink with caution! 🤣

      Grandpa spent the holiday with his oldest son and a couple of other family members :) We can’t all gather because of covid, and it’s too risky for him at his age to have 16+ people packed in his house 💦

      Its unbelievable what type of conclusions people draw and from what. It is a good ''exercise'' as it actually explains the level of ''empathy'', ''acceptance'' of others and ''tollerance'' that some of us witness all over the world . Making such uneducated assumptions and constructing whole stories about someone they dont even know.
