The bluebell flames jar would have been great as a candle. If you suffer from headaches, the oil roller is great for dabbing onto your temples and relieving some discomfort - I use a peppermint one frequently, and I love it ❤️
I'm a bit disappointed with the jar if I'm being honest. They could have let the flame surround the entire jar and not a small section. I really like your idea of it being a candle.
Lavender and Peppermint are great for relieving headaches, apply to the temples or back of the neck. Both these oils have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, I often use lavender to aid healing minor skin injuries. However, be careful using around cats, as essential oils can be toxic to them x

There are many varieties of lavender oil, when distilled they give off one of two distinctly different essences. One helps my headaches, one makes me nauseous. I didn’t know that until I went to a lavender distillery. My sister makes a lavender and peppermint oil blend for me in a roller ball that I pop on my temples and back of neck to help in migraine recovery.
I too have a lavender and peppermint essential oil roll on that I use for headaches. Mine is a bit larger than one in this box, this one would be great for carrying in emergency bag.

I'm incredibly disappointed in this box! Hermione is my all time favorite character and I don't think they did her justice at all! They had the opportunity to turn out a really amazing box with unique or interesting items just for her and it was a whole lot of zip to be honest. The print and pin was nice I guess and maaaybe the Dittany. Everything else fell flat and I wouldn't have been excited to keep any of it. And can we talk about the tumbler?! It was the cheapest clear plastic tumbler you could ever find with an ity bity decal on it. I think any HP fan could have designed a better tumbler for Bluebell flames in two seconds than the lack of effort that went into that. Very sad, Accio, very sad. 😞
Imagine if they didn't have it as a tumbler but as a heat changing mug and the flames would rise as the hot water poured in and go down as it got cool! Or glow in the dark with even some transparent paint that when it was dark you could see the flames light up... I should be designing these...
Essential oils can be added to your temples, neck and pulse points. The scent of lavender and peppermint will help with relaxation and particularly peppermint helps with headaches when placed on the temples and below/behind the ears.

the roll on oil would b used for being calm peppermint tea b4 bed can help u to relax and lavender bath bomb b4 bed does the same thing and amethyst is used to ward off evil spirits and is supposed to have healing properties if u hold the crystal to the part of ur body that is injured eg like a scrape from falling over so with it being in that oil it can actually go into ur blood stream and start to heal little things. so the oil helps u to relax whilst doing a little bit of healing and also u do most of ur healing when ur asleep so what they have done is quite smart! love the honesty and love ur vids keep up the good work honey xxoo

I don’t recall the rest of the oils that were listed but that’s pretty much a soothing and calming product
The essential oils that you have, you could put a little bit of your temples If you have a headache. Peppermint oil is meant for headache relief and nausea relief and even used as an antiseptic. It can help with acne scars. The smell can be a little rejuvenating. Lavender kind of goes around the same lines; lavender can be very calming. I know it didn’t tell you much in the cheat sheet but basically what it said is when it’s meant for. Use it if you want to maybe relax or feel a little bit more invigorated or you got a headache or you just like the smell. Most of the time though these essential oils would be mixed with something else in order to make a certain mixture that’s meant for specific things. Of course you also have people in the medical field that will tell you essential oils are nothing but snake oil, just a way to take your money. Basically, enjoy the smell and if you happen to get any positive effects from it great. If you don’t, you enjoyed the smell.

I would love to get that bookmark as I am always on the hunt for nerdy related bookmarks that are better quality and I am a constant reader! The essential oil is great, if you are not familiar lavender and peppermint as well as eucalyptus oil is great for headaches, stress, and relaxation in general. I for years have carried peppermint oil because I have frequent headaches and it also helps me to focus. I suggest dabbing just a bit under the nose, on your temples, or right under your earlobe as the natural heat helps diffuse the scent better.
I really like this box. one of the reasons I love Accio compared to other boxes is because it is subtle, and I'm happy I subscribe in time for this series. I personally like the tumbler and I'm already using it. yes, it is subtle but I'm enjoying it. I think it was a good box overall. one thing that I don't like about subscription boxes (all of them) are the prints. As much as I appreciate and admire artists work, and love to see it, it is not something that I personally don't enjoy collecting. they end up piling up in my drawers and then later been throw away. You know, I love this interpretation even though it doesn’t match the way I pictured Hermione when I read the books. It’s possible to appreciate an artist’s work even if your vision is a little different. That’s what makes books so wonderful. Each and every person who reads a book will have a unique experience because everyone’s imagination will be different.
Honestly the tumblr should have had a little hard plastic flame inside and a removable bottom that lights up blue, that would have been much more magical.
I wish the tumbler either had the fire pattern all around, or had molded plastic in the middle to look like flame. I agree that the little fire design is too subtle, but if you’d been able to see it all around or in the middle, I think it would have carried a better punch
This box was a big flop to me, only thing I liked was the pin. Didn’t like anything in the box really (love watercolor prints but even that was a miss). There was so much more to Hermione and so much more that could of been done. Was really disappointed by what was chosen. What they could of done was a replica of her beaded handbag or a pair of hand knitted socks or hats that she made in year 5. Something from transfiguration as she loves that subject. She formed SPEW, so something from that would fit. I don’t think they dug around very much book wise from what was chosen for this box.

As some of you may or may not know, there have been some changes within Accio as a "company" .... there will be more items in the boxes, the patronus pens when all collected will create a "stained glass" and there will be a way to display it.
I tend to get frizzy hair in humid weather (similar to hermione ha) so I would roll a bit of the essential oil into my hands and then run it through the ends of my hair. Helps tame it a bit. Lovely video!! ❤️
You put the oils in a necklace so it can calm you down the necklace have foam inside and you open it up to put in the oil and I think there is a time Turner themed one
You would treat that oil roller like a perfume roller. Traditional perfumes give me headaches so I only use essential oils diluted with fractionated coconut oil or water. Either in a roller or a small glass spray bottle.
The flames would have made the item obvious for me. I also assumed the pins would be golden and silver trio. Or legendary trio. I don’t even know if Draco can make a Patronus. He was a death eater after all. You could use gold pen to write on the books spine if you wish to display it. Hermione’s pin means knowledge.

The dittany oil..it's for say muscle pain..and hard bruised shoulders, arms, etc..it said "although it can't promise to heal" like it did in the movie..it was also considered her perfume when she put it on her to conceal? Unless I misheard you when you read it..but yes..peppermint..good for banged and bruised places..and sore muscles..and lavender (or lilac) good for stress relief....(budding herbologist here..for real..going to school for it! 😁
I got this box a couple days ago, and I agree with you, the bluebell flame jar was my least favourite item as well. I really liked the idea of it but I would have preferred a glass one to begin with and maybe the print should have gone all around it? Or maybe they could have done sort of a "double wall" effect (I don't know how this is called, sorry ^^) where the flames would have been 3D in the middle and the beverage would go around that central part? Idk, I think the idea was good but they didn't go far enough with it.

Unfortunately due to the on going shipping issues and lack of creativity, I had to recently cancel my subscription after 2 years. It seemed to be just a lot of marketing items that had a magical quote or spells printed on it. I understand it is difficult to continue to come up with new ideas every month. But there just seemed to be more misses than hits. I was getting them for my young daughter and she had no interest in things like whiskey flasks and pizza cutters. Our last box was March and I think I made the right decision. She would have been pretty disappointed in this box.
I think the oil roller is supposed to be rolled onto your temples, if you’re stressed or just need to relax. The scent of lavender is supposed to be calming, and the mint is rejuvenating. c:

I would put the blue flame on the bottom of the water jar and made it glowing in the dark so if there is water inside it will make a cute subtle lamp!

It’s possible to appreciate an artist’s work even if your vision is a little different. That’s what makes books so wonderful. Each and every person who reads a book will have a unique experience because everyone’s imagination will be different.
Awesome box! I think you can use the oil on your temples when you feel tired or a headache is forming its way.
Cherry, you could DIY the top of the rollerball oil if you did want to put it on your potions shelf.
Honestly the tumblr should have had a little hard plastic flame inside and a removable bottom that lights up blue, that would have been much more magical.
This box was just not it, where has the magic gone from the boxes?
I wish the tumbler either had the fire pattern all around, or had molded plastic in the middle to look like flame. I agree that the little fire design is too subtle, but if you’d been able to see it all around or in the middle, I think it would have carried a better punch
This box was a big flop to me, only thing I liked was the pin. Didn’t like anything in the box really (love watercolor prints but even that was a miss). There was so much more to Hermione and so much more that could of been done. Was really disappointed by what was chosen.
What they could of done was a replica of her beaded handbag or a pair of hand knitted socks or hats that she made in year 5. Something from transfiguration as she loves that subject.
She formed SPEW, so something from that would fit.
I don’t think they dug around very much book wise from what was chosen for this box.

I feel like the pin set will be Hermione, Ron, Harry, Luna, Neville and Ginny. Would make the most sense. :)
As some of you may or may not know, there have been some changes within Accio as a "company" .... there will be more items in the boxes, the patronus pens when all collected will create a "stained glass" and there will be a way to display it.
I tend to get frizzy hair in humid weather (similar to hermione ha) so I would roll a bit of the essential oil into my hands and then run it through the ends of my hair. Helps tame it a bit. Lovely video!! ❤️
You put the oils in a necklace so it can calm you down the necklace have foam inside and you open it up to put in the oil and I think there is a time Turner themed one

You would treat that oil roller like a perfume roller. Traditional perfumes give me headaches so I only use essential oils diluted with fractionated coconut oil or water. Either in a roller or a small glass spray bottle.
The flames would have made the item obvious for me. I also assumed the pins would be golden and silver trio. Or legendary trio. I don’t even know if Draco can make a Patronus. He was a death eater after all. You could use gold pen to write on the books spine if you wish to display it. Hermione’s pin means knowledge.

Yeah, very odd. Any information I can find says Neville's patronous was non corporeal so I don't know what they're going to do. 🤔

So on the tumbler they should have done the flames all around or even made a flame shaped ice cube (that can be refrozen) that sits in a Grove or something in the tumbler I think that would have been better other than that very awesome box

The dittany oil..it's for say muscle pain..and hard bruised shoulders, arms, etc..it said "although it can't promise to heal" like it did in the movie..it was also considered her perfume when she put it on her to conceal? Unless I misheard you when you read it..but yes..peppermint..good for banged and bruised places..and sore muscles..and lavender (or lilac) good for stress relief....(budding herbologist here..for real..going to school for it! 😁
I got this box a couple days ago, and I agree with you, the bluebell flame jar was my least favourite item as well. I really liked the idea of it but I would have preferred a glass one to begin with and maybe the print should have gone all around it? Or maybe they could have done sort of a "double wall" effect (I don't know how this is called, sorry ^^) where the flames would have been 3D in the middle and the beverage would go around that central part? Idk, I think the idea was good but they didn't go far enough with it.
A disapointing box as a fan of hermione this was a letdown

Love useing essential oil roll on for your skin. Like putting some lavender oil in bath or mint oil on skin good like lotion but if dont like oily skin can sit on shilf thank you for video

I think the oil is just for relaxation. I would put it in front or behind my ears. That's what I do with my lavender oil

Would have loved to see the flames all round the jar and the straw so when you moved the straw it looked like the flames were moving.
The bluebell flame box was beautiful but when you pulled out that plastic cup it was a real let down. Yes its useful but it wasnt magical.
Unfortunately due to the on going shipping issues and lack of creativity, I had to recently cancel my subscription after 2 years. It seemed to be just a lot of marketing items that had a magical quote or spells printed on it. I understand it is difficult to continue to come up with new ideas every month. But there just seemed to be more misses than hits. I was getting them for my young daughter and she had no interest in things like whiskey flasks and pizza cutters. Our last box was March and I think I made the right decision. She would have been pretty disappointed in this box.
I think the oil roller is supposed to be rolled onto your temples, if you’re stressed or just need to relax.
The scent of lavender is supposed to be calming, and the mint is rejuvenating. c:
