I had previously skipped this video because I did not understand the controversy. My son called me from Israel yesterday and brought up the subject so I took the time to listen to what Dweck had to say.Dweck has caused quite a stir in the Orthodox community in Israel. I completely agree with you, Rabbi Mizrachi. I believe Dwecks ideas undermine the family unit and the commandment to multiply. I wrote a comment on his video that I condemn his ideas because they will harm other people. I would not want Dweck to "fall in love" with my son. My son is married. Dweck would ruin his life. In my comment on Dwecks video, I stated he should not be allowed to spread his ideas but that he should not be shunned. I would like to change that statement now. To have his own ideas is one thing, to attack you is another. Dweck is misguiding people. If he's attacking you, he's causing discord. He can't be executed and I have no inclination to execute anyone. However, I would not want him to be where he has an opportunity to spread his poison to people around me. G-d bless you for standing up for your convictions.

I can't remember the exact subject. but the friction between the 2 came about six months ago because the Jewish chronicle conflagrated an issue and fanned the flames of an issue again I can't remember the exact subject. but since then rabbi mizrachi has had a negative attitude towards him. the point is that it's the newspapers like the jc that create huge conflagration and use this as gossip to sell newspapers. There is a special place in hell for editors like the jc and daily mail and their time is running out too, as people turn away from salacious gossip to helping each other and not dividing and conquering which is the agenda of sitra achra.
The Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel condemned Dweck by name as did other major rabbis in London. R Mizrachi is in great company.

If the Rambam was alive today, Mizrachi would make a video titled “Rambam the Rasha Heritic Wicked Reform Rabbi” because the Rambam says the 6-days of creation were not exactly literal but allude to hierarchy instead of time. The RambaN said that the only physical creation was one small spec. Imagine the video Mizrachi would make on him….
@@aidenkashi6110 He does not click bait and strays far from scamming his viewer base and followers. The Talmud has differing interpretations and viees, yes, but Mizrachi always keeps to it. If Rambam was still alive, Mizrachi would praise him as a Jewish scholar and a proud, observant Jewish person.

Ben Shapiro is irrelevant in this, despite me liking him for his political opinions and devotion to Judaism, zionism, and among other things he tackles with.
But you're proving my point. Ben Shapiro is amazing and guides countless Orthodox Jews and non-Jews on morality and Torah. He explains the immortality of popular music videos which some mistakenly think that he's promoting them... etc. Ruven has a whole video publicly degrading him! If you made a list of all the great Rabbis that Mizrachi and Ruben publicly spoke loshon hara and motzie shemra about, it would be clear that he would what he would say about the Rambam who is a rationalist -as many Rabbis were. Mizrachi would probably call out how the Rambam quotes Plato the goy too much or something like that (because the Rambam quotes scientists and philosophers all of the time)

David W i heard Rabbi Dwecks Shuir as well, and you are right Rabbi Mizrahi seems to be misrepresenting Rabbi Dweck. very sad. And very alarming that an Orthodox Rabbi would smear someone's name without listening to the shuir themselves.
Dweck implied his views as to what Torah says on sexual relations between men and men, he may have said its against Torah but he spoke with a fork tongue, trying to have it both ways, not welcome and also fantastic and how it's advanced society!! Give me a break speak straight, not as a crooked mouth!
I heard the shiur and bottom line is this man knew exactly what he was doing. He sugar coated the subject and hid behind a fence that the Torah only prohibits the act of intercourse. Do me a favour. He needs to learn Masechet Brachot about Kriyat Shema and understand that fences were put around the Torah to stop us from aveirot. There are NO loopholes in the Torah and never will be. Rabbi Mizrachi is not liked because he says it as it is. He did not write the Torah. Hashem did. Therefore, if you dont like what Rav Mizrachi comments, then take it to the creator and dare to tell him HE is wrong. Chas ve chalila. Open your ears and listen to what this "so called" rabbi dweck is trying to do. This was not the correct way and his misuse of the Torah and Halachot is chillul Hashem. The fact that dweck is family of Harav Ovadia Yosef Z"L sickens me. Harav Yosef must be turning in his grave. Wake up people and listen to the nonsense this dweck is selling you. Think about our children and who you trust to lead us in Torah. Rabbi Mizrachi may be a little harsh sometimes in his shiurim but he is quoting what Hashem commanded from us. In my opinion the worst part of Rabbi Dwek's speech was that he equated people who sin by not keeping the Shabbat to people that are openly homosexual. He said that if it can be accepted by the people in our communities to sit in Shul with people who don't keep shabbat than why should it be any different with people who commit the sin of "homosexuality".
What is clear to me is that Rabbi Dwek missed a very fundamental difference between the two, which is that someone who desecrates the shabbat, even openly, isn't making a statement that this behavior is allowed or that it should be accepted. He is merely someone who doesn't care enough about the laws to inconvenience himself by keeping them. Where as someone who is openly homosexual, in the jewish community, is implying that this should be accepted. If one wanted to compare this to the desecration of Shabbat a comparable case would be if someone was smoking a cigarette in Shul on Shabbat. Would any of our Shuls give an aliya to such a Jew. of course not, because by displaying his carelessness to the laws in front of everyone where he knows people will see he is making a statement, as opposed to someone that has the decency to wait until he is out of the eye of the public. The same message is given over by Jews who are publicly homosexual. Being openly homosexual is a social status that everyone knows about, which indicates that the person views it to be acceptable. He makes that exact statement. In Rabbi Dweks perfect world we would accept men which are married (to each other) in to shul, to sit next to each other displaying the acceptance of this prohibition. He would even like if they could be chazan! How than can this be accepted, for our children to see the "allowance" of this perversion of the Torah.
bc its a social status and they intend on it being that way, they mean to imply that it is ok and that it should in fact be accepted. that is the statement they make, the same way someone smoking in shul makes a statement bc he does it for everyone to see.
Secondly he apparently has no value to our legacy as a nation. If something hasn't been accepted for thousands of years by our parents, than to decide on changing that is another way of saying reform. We as orthodox jews don't look to reform. The ways of our grandparents are our life line to ways of the Torah.Tradition! Maybe he should watch Fiddler on the Roof and get a feel for it, because he's not getting it in London where apparently staying "relevant" is more important than ANYTHING.

Tuvia Sleigh: Many people are seeking the truth and there are many false rabbis nowadays. I was in conservative and modern Orthodox shuls and I sensed that their ideology was secular or "let's all sing kumbaya" attitude with churches as a "mitzvah". This I believe is erroneous and I am very glad that there is a rabbi who explained and warned every Jew what to do. I have met many Jews that returned to Torah in Queens NY and many converts because of this rabbi's work. I met also some well learned rabbis including here in Israel who spoke high regards of him. So what is your contribution to authentic Judaism and how long have you done it? (He did it for more than 25 years.)
Rabbi mizrachi is defending the real values of the Torah and you clearly are somebody that is very very far removed from the Torah
It’s not about disagreeing with the rabbi it’s about talking heresey against the Torah, Rav Mizrachi did not make up the rule the Torah says homo sexual acts is a crime
