In my opinion if you are going to have a handheld release for hunting there should probably be a keeper where you can hang your release on D Loop
I agree and my release stays hanging from my d loop during my hunts

@@melvinsacromentoe switching to a thumb release was the best move I’ve ever made! It’s that much better in my I’m opinion
I don’t get why these guys don’t make a small hole to accommodate a wrist strap. The axis seems like a lower end model but lets you run a strap. I would 100% the thumb click if it had a wrist strap.. wonder if you could drill a small hole and use some 550 cord
rumor is they are. the screw on the back side that adjust the fingers angle is gonna get a new screw that has a hole in it that extends out so you can run a rope through it. so keep a look out for that this year

@@Briguy933 I’m still using the just x Stan thumb release. Still breaks like new. But I’ll prolly upgrade it to the onnex soon since mines been discontinued for a while.
