i've read somewhere "danger is real but fear is illusion" , if you stand in front of a train you will be hit by it so it's better to move to side, that what is hanging in distance is worthless rope not golden rope or snake, pice of mud is not a pice of gold

Robert explains it this way - "There is no choice whatsoever, period, except not to react to conditions and not to identify with the body. If it weren't for that we would be automatons, but we're not automatons. But the awareness in us, the reality, makes us have that choice, not to identify with the body and not to react to any condition. Everything else is predetermined." And going back to the sources - Kena Upanishad 1.1: "Who is the one that directs the mind? The one who understands the sound of the wind, who is behind all actions, and is not seen." John 3:8 (King James Bible) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. I hope that's helpful as a lot of us are unclear on that, at least I was for years. Nothing that a few years of incessantly enquiring "Who is the 'I' that is confused" couldn't clear up.😳. 🙏🏻❤️

No need to see Adams as authority in these matters. Both Christ and Buddha and many other teachers did stress our capacity to increasingly apply free will to our actions and that every single thought, feeling and intention changes our so called fate, every instant is alive and being ever mold anew.
