Introducing the Adonis™ Cable Tower. Meticulously crafted through customer insights, an unwavering commitment to our pillars of innovation and value, and decades of expertise both in design and lifting. Our Colorado-based engineering team has made the best cable tower you’ll ever put your hands on.
Transform your space with the Adonis™ Cable Tower - offering unparalleled versatility in one functional cable system. The Adonis™ Cable Towers, available in both Plate-Loaded and Selectorized options, are sleek, low-profile cable machines. They can function as stand-alone units, seamlessly extend your 5000 or 4000 Series power rack or rig, or integrate effortlessly with REP's Modular Storage System. The Adonis™ Cable Tower is the first of its kind, featuring a 1:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 20lbs) for the lat pulldown and low row feature and a 2:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 10lbs) for the adjustable trolley. The Plate-Loaded Adonis™ Cable Tower features built-in stainless-steel weight horns with a max loadable capacity of 360lbs. The Selectorized Adonis™ Cable Tower has a 210lbs weight stack of machine-finished, hot-rolled, steel plates for consistent, durable weight, plus stainless-steel weight horns to add even more weight. Easily adjust the weight stack with a magnetized pin. Add more resistance to either version with resistance bands on the integrated band pegs up to the max capacity of 450lbs. The Adonis™ Cable Tower comes with one pair of 1.25lb and a pair of 2.5lb plates accented by a Grecian pattern -- a nod to the mythology that inspired the equipment's name. Thirty-four different cable positions allow you to maximize your range of motion, and patent-pending, plastic lined trolleys are easy to adjust with one hand.
The cables are made from high-quality, galvanized wire with a raw steel core. The pulleys are made from smooth, durable, strong aluminum, and the front pulley has a 180-degree swivel for versatility. The heavy-duty 3x3” 11-gauge steel base and uprights (front and back) allow you to maximize functionality by facilitating attachment connections and offering space-save storage solutions. Laser-cut numbering on the front upright makes it easy to find the desired position. The Adonis™ Cable Tower comes with a telescoping footplate, with seven adjustments to brace against during low rows, and a pair of knurled steel D-handles, hard-chrome lat pulldown bar, and low row bar. It’s also compatible with a wide assortment of additional cable attachments. Full-length metallic black shrouds with a recessed, stainless-steel REP logo are included. The shrouds feature a laser-cut pegboard with pegs (pair of 4" pegs included) for storage of small attachments and add-on weights. The Adonis™ Cable Tower is finished with a premium metallic black powder coat which provides durability and an upgraded aesthetic. You can switch from a plate-loaded system to a selectorized system with the conversion kit. You can also add the Pegasus™ Attachment, a premier seat and upright attachment, to assist with exercises like lat pulldowns, sit-ups, chest supported rows and more
The Ares™ is known as a leader in the fitness world as the best, fully integrated functional trainer and lat pulldown/low row attachment that affixes right onto your power rack. But our Colorado-based engineering team wanted to make the best even better. Inspired by customer feedback and our relentless growth mindset, meet the Ares™ 2.0. - Розваги
Hopefully my Norwegian Hair Transplant didn't throw you off! Is the Adonis Juice worth the squeeze? Is this something you think has real value in people's 2024 home gyms?
NoFate Affiliates Page: nofate247.com/affiliates/
Yep! It's a Prime Prodigy single stack for a lot less money and it has Rep's killer eco system.
What fav weekly video! Thanks for droppin' another one my guy!
It means a lot, if you had half the idea of the time it takes me to edit. So glad you're liking them! What are your thoughts on the Adonis? Worth the squeeze or not something to consider if you already have existing gym pieces
@@NoFate247 I'll wait for BoS to make a clone LOL. I live in Canada so I save on shipping
Damn love how it lets you add weight too. I have dual Athenas which can max out at 220lbs this would be helpful as I'm 6'4" and weigh 240 so have to do weighted pullups. It's just so smart to have that and you can use bands+weights too. Great review.
It's absolutely a great design, kinda wish the stack at least had an option to increase to 250-300, but I get it. Most people won't need more than 210 let alone the options to add extra plates or bands
I MUST HAVE THIS!
For a person with no existing cable machine it definitely is a solid option.
Good week in review! Nice work bro
Glad you like it!!! Took me a hot minute to edit. Thoughts on the Adonis?
It seems very innovative! However, I'm pretty limited on space so I'm not the target demographic. I'm still leaning to a pr5000 with the ares 2.0 for my set up, but I'll have to win the lottery or something to get that. that was still pretty good editing! You ought to compete in the Spring garage gym competition coming up in May@@NoFate247
I am competing in the Garage Gym Comp, rest assured! I try to enter them all
Hell yeah!! No doubt!@@NoFate247
Meal prepping and checkkkinnnnng innnn.
OK OK what type of meals are you making
Love the hair at the start there!!
Costumes = Funny :)
Doing murph this year? I liked ur video, figured I'd get to prepping for it now haha
thinking about it but not certain. Done it a few times now, so it wouldn't be "new". But might be a good reason to embrace the suck
I go online to see Dr. Mike review what Hollywood stars are doing actually. Great spotlight on highlighting the paid for reviews. Slimy. Great roundup as always man!
Appreciate you being here!!! What's the next piece of equipment you thinking of snagging for the Home gym?
@@NoFate247 hack squat/leg press combo unit!
Great week in review.
REP has some good equipment coming out over the last few years.
Yeah! Just one after another it's almost nuts how fast they took over from rogue on new releases
Looks like a solid piece.
Yeah Rep hasn't put out much or any sub par equipment in the past 3 years
I love a good Big Keith Shoutout!
He does so much for thy community. Plus I think we should highlight more achievements of people who might be too nice to toot their own horn. Also....next time you are selling headbands I would like to buy one please
These new pieces are nice man! AND LOL PUSH THOSE AFFILIATE 🤣🤣
Links are in the description 😂😂😂😂
@@NoFate247 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀💀💀
Nice looking machine
Definitely easy on the eyes
Casual-dropping-of-fancy-French-words game: on point.
(God tier: munching on snails and frog legs as your protein stack while reviewing this sweet piece of gear.)
I will do better next time 😂
I came for the equipment, but I stayed for the hairstyle.
Yes!!!!! That tennesee top hat can't be beat
Standard basement height around here is 90”. That’s actually a really common basement height. I really wish they’d offer this in a shorter height. Great review though! Keep it up man
They might in the future. I am curious why they didn't have a shorter version out the gate
I'm holding out for the Ares 3.0😜
At that rate they release stuff might not be that far off😂
They call it Adonis because it’s sexy af 😂
Facts - Just facts!
Review Ares 2.0 next??
It's like you hacked my computer and know the videos that are coming out Tuesday!!! I bet you'll love today's at 10AM EST
@@NoFate247 nice!! 👍👍 Cue Stepbrothers "did we just become best friends?" meme
@mikeworkman1759 💪💪💪
Why is the Adonis so expensive? Especially for plate loaded? Similar single stack towers cost about $300 for plate loaded and $1200 for weight stack.
Yeah the plate loaded version does come off as pricey. I know it's heavy and made with 3x3 11 gage steel. Assuming they purposely brought the price points under the competition but didn't want to go much lower than competition to keep profits high enough to justify R&D
i wonder if you can get two adonis towers and make a rack
Great question. Assuming the spacing would be too far apart but not certain
You could make each Adonis one side of your rack but why would you do that? Better off just getting the new Ares at that point.
@@NoFate247 They have pr5000 crossmembers that you can get independently on their site. This would make the rack a standard width.
@@Mench951 The lat pull down on the adonis is just better. Also this would create a walk through rack - so you could put storage behind between the two adonises but not not behind the ares.
I agree a single stack is all you need unless you are working out with partner, my wife does different exercises and lifts 80% less weight so it comes in handy otherwise single is 100% all a person needs.
Yeah, I think we all OVER ESTIMATE how much equipment we need for a great workout. You think t he Adonis is over-priced?
WALL MOUNT ATHENA!!
I need the review now 😢
Is it just me or does it seem so much worth it
Idk, I kinda curious how much space it takes up over the 4 post ares or Athena
@@NoFate247 if only I could buy one and deliver it to you lol
Wish my basement ceiling had 5" of more clearance...oh well, my Goldilocks will come along one day.
That's really the only down side to the basement home gym over the garage gym. Am I right
@@NoFate247 Absolutely, and it is the smallest trade off for 365 temperature control...I have a lat low row in the back of my PR4000 but would love a selectorized for accessories.
That Adonis is pricey! It’s probably built very solid though and over the loooong run the money evens out.
It ain't cheap but I think if your tight on space but wanted a dedicated machine this would be the way to go, or a similar version
Pepin & Rep sitting in a tree, producing new heavy adjustable dumbbells, for the community
How nuts is that announcement?
How crazy is that announcement
@@NoFate247 Yeah, definitely not something I was expecting, but it's a good idea, Rep can use it's resources to improve what is already a good set of adjustables without having to reinvent the wheel so to speak
Lol major fitness ad rolls after the video ends by UA-cam.
Big brother is everywhere
There is a company that sells heavier spherical dumbbells... they're called thompson fat bells 🙄
Yeah I thought I mentioned them but I think I got the exact name wrong. These are really a semi copy of those
my basement is 7ft else I would get this. but now I Am eyeing the Ares 2.0. That tax refund money is boring a hole and ants to get spent.
The ares 2 looks great...what do you think the release day will be?
Too expensive imo. Would make more sense to have a single stack Athena within your rack.
Yeah the Athena especially single stack is a low key great budget saver
Adonis looks amazing. But no need for my gym. The athena fits all my needs, esp with my bare steel gym pin
Yeah, I'm able to get that Athena up to some seriously heavy weight with a gym pin and some weight it out plates.
im more excited for ares 2.0 😅
I'm excited about that but I'm guessing we won't see that shipped until September or October. When you think is the earliest they ship that?
Wait what, that’s a thing?
Edit: and I just checked their site, wow lol.
@@NoFate247 not sure but I never liked the Ares 1.0 dude to the lack of room inside the rack and sitting on the floor for rows.
@@MetalsForBrunch yeah i don't mind sitting on the floor for rows but would prefer it elevated
Maybe I'm the odd one out here.... I think that the Adonis is overrated. At 3K, it has an underwhelming weight stack and a middle pulley that is next useless by itself. To get the full benefits from a functional trainer, you'll have to buy another Adonis which totals at 6k? Lol! I could buy a lat/low row with 300lbs and a big functional trainer for $4500. In my opinion, the Adonis seems more suited for the home gym equipment collectors.
I am curious why they kept that weight stack down. Interesting to see if they ever add in weight stack upgrade
I feel like if Rep cared about the home gym community they had just started with a base to turn an Athena into a stand alone functional cable column. The Adonis is nice and all but it's overkill for most home gyms. Granted, I'm biased in that the Adonis just doesn't fit into my space.
How tall is your ceiling
@@NoFate247 I'm in an attic. It's a 12'x20' room with 5' walls converging on an 11' ridge, rafters are at 92" every 4 feet. One of the tall walls has a my only window, the other has doors.
Is one Athena not a standalone functional cable column?
@@jamiesoncostello yes it is
I'm one to get annoyed by Instagram affiliate link blasts🎉 but I also get it. I'm not trying to make a living doing this.
It's an interesting topic, I could probably make a ten minute video on it. It's very much like companies creating mailing lists or GGR starting a newsletter. Everyone's trying to grab a piece from the same pie.
@@NoFate247 I essentially just stopped trying. Lol
Bro that rogue one is almost the same price lol except no lag pull down. But if you save more you can get the new all in one Rogue lol 😊Adonis is for someone really don’t want a power rack
I made a mistake in the video and didn't include shipping in the Prime Fitness one, so that tacks on another $500. The rogue one coming out looks legit, hoping to get a chance to use it.
@@NoFate247 yeah I’m going to get it for sure. I wish I was cuter or I would have the money made already.
