Uniker (TM) is the company and this case sells on this date from Amazon for USD48.99. The price should come down after a successful sales run to make a profit and to payback development costs. I will wait for the 3.5inch model if and when it comes out or if I need this size of screen. Thanks for this new case.
Awesome a 2.2 inch screen would be great for low power consumption no rebooting or needing to use two or one larger adapter for the power needs also I love the aluminum look and the fact that everything looks neat and Professional without any boards sticking out or edges of the screen that could get damaged this is a very nice complete package and definitely the one I am probably going to buy unless I find something nicer which I'm probably not going to grade vid thanks a lot :-)
I'm trying to build Rasp Pi VR goggles, and I'm looking for small LCD screens (~2 inches) with over 15fps display. Can this display do that? Case looks great, btw.
Now, we have something useful here. How affordable is to be found out. Another model with a larger screen such as a 3.5inch touch screen would round out the models.
@Pi4IoT Two questions: 1. Does the screen turn of it the Raspberry Pi is connected via HDMI to another screen? 2. Does the screen work with any OS running on the Raspberry Pi. For example a system like Kodi?
By default installation only one display is activated. But you can set more than one output for a display. I can show it in one of the following video and also use the TFT with another OS.
The screen isn’t a touch screen. Anyway the screen is also protected by a plexiglass too. www.raspberrypiwiki.com/index.php/2.2_inch_TFT_Display_SKU:398437
A long time ago I have made an alarm clock with internet radio and mp3 player. ua-cam.com/video/KTFlcrD5YOg/v-deo.html Or did you see this: www.play-zone.ch/de/u-geek-aoide-zeropad-pi-zero-gameboy-musicbox-komplettes-set.html#
It is depending in which country you live. But if you go to www.amazon.com/ and search for “Uniker(TM) Raspberry Pi DIY Kit Aluminum” you will find, where you can buy it.
You will find it when you search (google) for: Uniker(TM) Raspberry Pi DIY Kit Aluminum Enclosure / Case + 2.2 inch High PPI TFT LCD Kit for Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Raspberry Pi Screen
Good info, sort of. What do you people have against talking? Really hard to get into the project when there is no discussion. Would like some information, not just pantomime.
Gute Info! Super mach weiter so!!!
The info not included with the original video was: 1) Where to buy it 2) How much 3 Links to manufacturer's website Please feel free to look at other review videos for further information on what to provide when you upload new content for your viewers.
1)Where to buy it: I’m not sponsored by a company. So I don’t want to give you only one store. And it is difference in which country you live. So you can buy it by PCSTORE or PLAY-Zone or Amazon or alibaba…etc. 2)How much: The price is also difference on where you buy it and it can be changed it from month to month. 3)Links to manufacturer's website: Sorry, but I didn’t find the homepage from a company like “Uniker(TM)”
A battery attached would be nice, maybe long one on top where there are no usb/sd ports.
If you want to see 2.2 inch LCD TFT Screen and the six buttons in action, then you should watch this video:

I wish iQAudio would offer a screen option with their audio HATs - this looks really good compared to many of the Pi cases out there.

The beginning of the song reminded me of the "look at this photograph" meme

I think raspbian lite might be a little more appropriate on that screen.
I want to know if those buttons work? What can we do with the buttons? Thanks
To you question, I have posted a new Video about the buttons ;-)

I'd prefer a pi case with a built in battery over one with a built in screen personally.
yep me too.

Is 15 fps enough for VR? I've heard 30 gets people sick...

how much wifi signal are you losing through that aluminum case?
Okay, I will test it in the next future.
I will check the distance (signal level) between my Smartphone and the Raspberry 3 with and without the case.
ALMOST ALL OF IT!

The url for code is broken, does someone have it?:)

Needs a fan to help cool overclocked pi.
For this case you can’t use a fan. It is completely closed.
I think overclock the CPU in this case will be a bad idea.
