for newly qualified teachers 54 pesos lang per lesson/student. tapos low bookings pa yun. Maybe kung swertehin ka madami kang bookings within a day. But for those teachers who are expecting this kind of salary from 51talk kung kakasimula mo pa lang asahan mo na lang na you'll get like 3-5 booked slots a day, and per lesson is 54pesos lang so within a day you'll have a fee of 162-270 PESOS per day.

37 pesos yung new teachers rate sa 51talk. Master teacher is at 55 or 60 per 25mins lesson. I have a screenshot of the payrate during onboarding

I do online tutorial session directly from China and the rate is bet 3k to 4k pesos... I know the parents pay Thousand pesos din jan sa 51talk baka nga hindi lang yan 3k to 4k baka mas mataas pa,cmpre dahil mautak ang pinoy,,sasabihin nyan eh average salary lang ng teachers sa pinas ay nasa 18k to 20k kaya kaht bigyan mo ng 25k a month yan per month akkagatin nila yan...may gudness friend ko 54 pesos per hour...kapal nyo...teachers nagpapakahirap tapos nasa bulsa nyo ang libo libong kita.

Teacher Gill you seem like a nice person. And your speaking level is impressive enough for you to work at international schools. You deserve better than putting up with ₱75 per hour, IF there are available schedules. And I don't think this company TRULY cares about educating students. It's more about overcharging the parents and underpaying the good, honest, hard-working teachers. They're taking advantage of Filipinos. Let me know if you have time.

@@polithiefcian7287 absolutely. There were supposed to be openings in Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, and even in Peru for international schools. Then the omicron came and hit us, just need to wait again. Best place to teach in my experience: China and Japan. Australia, Canada, Germany, Cyprus, Poland, and Mexico may offer good salary, but the real deal is tutoring AFTER. SCHOOL. That's where you make the big bucks! Working for a rich family that offers your services after school and during the weekends is double salary. Online jobs here have terrible rates. Toxic environment too, plus the penalty injustice for having terrible wifi or inability to connect will land you Php200 penalty. Unbelievable. Sorry it got lengthy. Keep in touch

Starting salary ni 51talk is 54pesos for 25minutes, big jump yung 75pesos ahh..baka ma.expectation vs. reality yung gustong mag.apply 😂

That also depends whether you are an Office-based teacher(OBT) or a Home-based Teacher(HBT). OBTs are in charge with the enrollment of students, and HBTs cater regular students. OBTs receive incentives depending on how many enrollments they make in a month. The higher conversion/ enrollment the bigger the incentives. Top teachers receive up to 80,000 and more in just a month, but less the tax hehe
What f you don't get bookings does that mean you won't get paid? Who decides which teacher to book?

Hindi mo yata naintindihan ang tanong nung karamihan sa mga gusto magapply. Ang tanong totoo ba na magkakasweldo ka ng 80K nang hindi ka nagkakakanda kuba at nagiging multo dahil sa wala nang tulog? Kasi kung may 80K ka nga pero wala ka namang oras para sa ibang gawain tsaka nakakasama na sa kalusugan mo, eh parang di naman tama. So posible sya pero magpapakamatay ka na halos.
Actually meron ng naka avail nyan. Napabayaan ang health, nagkasakit sa kaka turo. Hanggang sa bumigay na talaga. Kaya balance2x lang talaga.

Hi Teach! Just wanna ask. Since you only open a maximum of 3 slots on weekdays because you're also working full-time. sa 3 slots nayun, na bo-book bayan lahat? I'm curious because I will be starting soon after on-boarding, and we have the same set-up since I am working full time also. I just want to make an early projection how much I can earn if I will be teaching in 51talk in a part-time capacity. Thank you!!

Yung 3 slots, halos isang opened slot lang per day. It actually depends on how you plot your schedule. Students like it if the slots you open are consistent
