If/When I get married, my mother isn't even going to know it's happening. Cuz she'd do this shit to an even greater level-she's a seamstress, so she'd want to make my gown herself. Even knowing that our tastes in clothing are opposites and have been since I was like 5, she'd still try to convince me that her way was best and ignore what I wanted. Nope. Not even a phone call to tell her the news afterwards.
They need to watch the one where the husband controls everything and tries to stop the brid from listening to her mother. Or the one where the bride wants to wear cowboy boots to her wedding. And no I'm not saying they should watch it because shes wearing cowboy boots. I'm saying it because of the Karen.
If that woman was my mother, I'd say no to every one of her suggestions. She's too controlling, too obnoxious and is clearly living through her daughter. The daughter is probably sick of dealing with her.
"I know shes the bride and im the mom and I should take the back seat, but she should follow her mothers advice" The entire statement contradicts itself. If you know you should take the back seat why are you not doing that?

Hell f***ing NO. Were going blue, like the tears that'll be falling from my mother's eyes once I walk down that aisle in my BLUE wedding dress
(13:43) bride: "I said yes to the dress!"
Everyone: *yayyyyy
Bride:"in purple"
Mom:"pink Pink PINK!"
I want it pink and I want it NOW
if i were this girl, i'd pick any nicely cut dress in pink and then let all the wedding photos of me printed in black and white, just to spite my awful mother.
That fashion assassin gonna make everything red instead of pink
He heard of Game of Thrones throwing a Red Wedding, and wanted to recreate it himself, with a bit more taste, I assume.
Lmaooo 💀💀💀
For reference , Lori is usually his dressing partner who co hosts the dress shop !! They’re both hilarious :)
If his children choose to get married:"So what color would you like on the-"
Ken: Pink pink pink
You know, after seeing stuff like this I’m thankful my mom isn’t a control freak. 💀 this is just kinda sad lmao
Really hoping for a part two of this, because... I want to see Monte's reaction when the mother makes the daughter pick a pink wedding dress too. One of the number one rules of bridal attire is that the bridesmaids dresses are NOT the same color as the wedding dress. Boy, he's gonna FLIP OUT! 🤣
Yessss Buff has his hair down again 😍😍
“Someone hit him in the face with cheap” hahahaha best comment ever, we all saw it!!!
😂💀
"I want to control every aspect of my daughter's life because I need to live through her"
.... Can't blame the daughter to wanting out of that toxic relationship.
Take a shot everytime they say PINK PINK PINK!
We be I hospital for alcohol poisoning
Say yes to the dress is my CHILDHOOD mom and daughter tv time. Now it's 90 day fiance😂
I am cracking up at you calling Monte Durham "The Assasin." He is a fashion designer on the show, however he really knows how to land some zinger snippets about situations that yea, kinda make the term assasin work! LOL
Watching Memes with my favorite snacks
1. Dane
2. Ken
3. Dane
I wouldn't pick pink just to spite my mom cuz that's how petty I am
Yeah because ur a terrible pumpkin lol
I don't even think it's about being petty, it's about not enabling a controlling mother.
@@hhopsi exactly!
I would probably do that too. X,D
Monty was so done throughout the clip, it was hilarious
I love me some Monty and Lori shenanigans. And props to Brandon being able to handle the bridesmaid section.
Her mom definitely made her hate pink by forcing it on her so obsessively
"The Fashion Assassin" - Monte would approve of this nickname 🤣
"the fashion assassin" accurate description of Marty, he a *savage*
Fashion Assassin is the most accurate description of Montey EVER.
My mom and sisters were the same way, so I eloped, and really pissed them off!!!
Southern Mothers have been interfering in the happiness of their children for far too long.
It's not just southern moms, but they do seem to be the worst offenders.
@@animeartist888 Southern moms, Christian moms, Asian moms,
@@TiffanyRay Eastern European moms, Latin moms,
@@TiffanyRay my mom is Asian, Christian, and southern but I love my mom so much she’s amazing
Why single out “southern” mom’s???? That’s extremely offensive. Screw you.
They need to watch the one where the husband controls everything and tries to stop the brid from listening to her mother.
Or the one where the bride wants to wear cowboy boots to her wedding.
And no I'm not saying they should watch it because shes wearing cowboy boots. I'm saying it because of the Karen.
I thought it was common for southern women to wear cowboy boots to their wedding.
The cowboy boots aren't that weird, it was how obsessed with how to show them off (iirc) that was strange in that episode.
@@Mew54152 I mean. There is a mega Karen too.
@@egg8694
Unfortunately they have yet to unleash mega ultra karen.
I plan on wearing cowboy boots to my wedding lol
If that woman was my mother, I'd say no to every one of her suggestions. She's too controlling, too obnoxious and is clearly living through her daughter. The daughter is probably sick of dealing with her.
"I know shes the bride and im the mom and I should take the back seat, but she should follow her mothers advice" The entire statement contradicts itself. If you know you should take the back seat why are you not doing that?
my mother would NEVER act like this but if she did you can bet all your bucks that there won’t even be a pink flower in my bouquet
The saying “mother knows best hit” this woman hard.
13:15 "It's a done deal, we're done let's go." LMAO, the guy is so beyond fed up.
I swear ken has worn that shirt every episode since hes gotten it lmao
So ?
Its the official uniform of meme couch
Maybe he has multiples of the same shirt
Lol or they could be recording several episodes in a day
My mom has always dictated how I looked from about 16 and younger until I finally decided to rebel and do what I WANTED. I'm so glad she never went this extreme with choosing for me, especially with my room.
Monty would love being the "fashion assassin "
Buff’s hair is majestic 🌈
"Pink, pink, pink!" is starting to sound like a curse 😳
Monte is the best part of the entire show. Dudes a hoot!
That guy caved to her momma's southern charm. HE IS WEAK.
I loved when he pulled out his little Lori doll. Monty makes me laugh.
This is say yes to the dress bridesmaids and omg this is the best series. Everyone in the store hates the bridesmaids department and Laurie is who they send down when things get our of hand cause she isn't afraid to smack some bitches. I love the Atlanta staff!
Not sure what it is but Buff looks extra handsome in this video
The purple one is banging lmao
Lori is Monte's dear friend and owner of the bridal salon they're in. She's the absolute QUEEN of throwing shade at overbearing entourages.
"Mom, can we have Ryan Gosling?"
"We have Ryan Gosling at home"
Ryan Gosling at home: 5:33
7:09 - everyone who has ever worked in customer service and retail felt that look on a spiritual level 😂
Buff, my guy, can you please save some for the rest of us? With that silky-smooth hair
✌💜✊🤘
I really like buffs hair in this video, his curls look nice
Buff is a cutie pie.
See this why I cringe at southern kindness being a southern girl myself just tell it to me blunt and I'll accept don't pull the "oh dearie, bless your heart" bs it gets so old at least to me
*Yep*
@@taijohatsumoto394we all know what “bless your heart” or “I’ll pray for you” or “she’s a hoot” means down here. It’s still blunt. It just sounds nice to outsiders. Or maybe you just know nicer people than the ones I know. And nicer than myself. There’s a certain tone and venom out into those phrases that makes them so exquisitely condescending . Just gotta be mean enough to do it right.
if my mother told me I could ONLY wear pink at MY wedding, I would just tell her not to come.
I could watch 100 of these Say Yes To The Dress React Couches.
me: goes through portal to hell
the devil: step through this door if you dare
me: NO NO NOOOOOOOOOO
monster on the other side: PINK PINK PINK
She could not hold that smile in when she said I’m moving away
I love Monty & lori. I was trying to see how much an appointment at the shop would be before corona. I couldn't get one though because they never have an slots available.
The look on monty's face when the other guy's holding the doll of the bride XD
Man I loved Say yes to the dress
As someone who watches this show on occasion with my mom, i loved yalls take on this lol
Jenna marbles's dog Kermit don't cry as much as this woman did! And he just cries at all times.
This randomly popped up in my feed and seeing these two in the same room made me want to cry 😮💨
Okay a few things that need to be said:
1. It’s Lori’s store and she’s like the big man on campus, so-to-speak. That’s why they talk about her how they do.
2. Brandon (the other employee) is literally the best person on the show ngl.
3. Pleeeeeaaaase do more Say Yes to the Dress Bridesmaids! It’s so dramatic y’all will love it.
I love Say Yes! It's one of very few reality shows I watch. Monte is great. 😂
