- I am back with another shop my vintage closet. In this one I am creating outfits using two 1940's playsuits I made last summer. These are pieces I feel could be really versatile that I am missing out on wearing.

Try the watermelon top with green!
That's what I thought! It looked like she had a solid/somewhat matching tone solid green bottom in her closet. I was waiting for her to pull that. I hope 🤞 she does!
The green bottom in my closet is a really busy skirt in the front, felt like pairing them would have too much going on, I'll definitely give it a shot though!
Was waiting for this weeks video and this was suggested to me, what a cute video!
Lol this is an oldie haha always funny when they pop up!
Such cute outfits!! And I love your new hair color too.
Thank you so much!
A green or yellow skirt would go with the watermelon top!
Agreed, I have the one yellow skirt but otherwise I don't really own them in the right shades though 😅
I love these videos! The first two are my favorites. I am never good at coordinating patterns
Thank you, these are always fun to make!
I really like it when you do these videos! Is that a yellow/white striped skirt I see? I thought that would look nice with the watermelon top. It's sometimes tricky when you have a "loud" wardrobe! (like mine hehe)
I was thinking the same thing! It seems like there's a hint of yellowy orange in the top to go with The yellow skirt
Agree with both of you! I did have a yellow striped skirt, it was actually a matching one for the striped top I showed, I didn't want to show the same combo twice in the video but it does work with the top as well.
Cute combos! I need more sets.
More sets are the way to go!
I've found luck in matching/coordinating a "minor" color in such busy prints. Like the pink as you were doing, or the white or green of the watermelon 🍉 print. That way it looks "pulled together" but not over the top/too matchy.
Totally agree. This was a super fun exercise!
I would've paired the yellow stripped skirt with the watermelon top. idk from what i could tell in your closet, that might have been cute :)
That would definitely be cute!
