Kenshi is one of the goofiest, janky games on steam rn. I love it a lot but its far from realistic lol. To clarify aswell, not janky as in broken, just as in very exploitable and at times buggy.

Actually, often unless you hit major veins, organs or arteries, it takes a good 2 minutes before blood begins pooling around the body. This is actually realistic. As for blowing lungs out, not even a 50 BMG can do that.

ya the game "ready or not" a swat kind of game has a lot of interesting sounds that make it so real, even shooting them on the neck u hear them gurgle nd stuff, still a game work in progress though
when you get shot you usually don't really feel it immediately. It's like being burned. You get a little jolt and pull back. As you realize what happened and your brain processes it your body sends the pain signals and it starts hurting more and more and more. When being shot at you get an adrenaline dump into your system. You can look up any number of police videos and see people eat entire magazines of 9mm and keep going.

Reminds me of every enemy In most shooters where the ai enemy can shoot for 50 minutes straight but when you kill them they drop a good 5 bullets from their gun the only game where I have seen that this isn't the case is sniper elite 5 (sure most enemies still drop 5 bullets but in that game there's a skill that allows you to take out the bullets from the gun )
I initially thought “didn’t rack it back and put one in the chamber” but then I was looking for blood patterns, holes in objects/walls behind the victim, shell casings, the weapons (first two seemingly disappeared). Good one 💀

I play too much gmod realism that i instantly recognize Tarkov from the guns, sounds, and hands without playing the game, and watching a few tarkov clips
Games (in order of appearance): Escape From Tarkov, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Ground Branch, Ready or Not. EFT is multiplayer only but has a major cheater issue as of writing and the devs consider playing the singleplayer mod as a bannable offense. Insurgency: Sandstorm has somewhat drifted away from realism and is overall the most arcade-y out of all these games but is still fun. I recommend the 2014 prequel for a more grounded experience. I admittedly have yet to play Ground Branch but a friend of mine has and from his testimony its like if those "Gmod realism" videos became a fully fledged game. Use a fancy gun to move around and kill a bunch of NPCs, sometimes with an objective. It's still in development but if you enjoy that stuff I mentioned in Gmod you'll probably enjoy this game. Ready or Not, also in development. Haven't played and I don't have any friends I can ask about it. Heard the AI is competent and that there's a fair amount of content. EDIT: Got both Ground Branch and RoN. Ground Branch is basically tactical barbie with barebones AI. RoN vanilla AI makes the game less SWAT simulator and Terminator survival horror, get mods. Tarkov also got a whole new maelstrom of shit from scummy business practices.
Entry wounds for a 9mm are tiny, and if you aren't hitting an artery or a vital organ with a lot of blood flow, you might not even get much blood exiting the wound.

Depend on what part of the body you shoot, in mostly cases it remains inside of the body. Yeah sometimes if for example you shoot in the finger of the hand, obviously it will pass through it but it's quite rare to shoot these parts so the solution of the games are correct
In all reality, the one thing I hate about Tarkov (despite the fact I love the game) is how “nothing” bullets can feel. I can pop a guy in the chest and he still has a window to sprint, line up a shot and headshot me. In a game focused on hyper realism, I definitely thought bullets and wounds would do more damage, cause more weapon sway, or still cause damage even if hitting armor.
Tarkov tried to combine hardcore, realistic mechanics with looter-shooter core gameplay. If they make most guns have a quick time-to-kill then no one would be running expensive armor.

Reminds me of every enemy In most shooters where the ai enemy can shoot for 50 minutes straight but when you kill them they drop a good 5 bullets from their gun the only game where I have seen that this isn't the case is sniper elite 5 (sure most enemies still drop 5 bullets but in that game there's a skill that allows you to take out the bullets from the gun )
I initially thought “didn’t rack it back and put one in the chamber” but then I was looking for blood patterns, holes in objects/walls behind the victim, shell casings, the weapons (first two seemingly disappeared). Good one 💀

It ties in with Joe Biden at the end. He went around a while back saying 9mm handguns can blow your lungs out of the body to scaremonger about guns to ignorant fools that don't know any better.
This video was "looking" for the "lungs" after all the enemies he shot in the games. The point is, a 9mm handgun does not, cannot, and will never remove your lungs from your body.
Not even a 50 cal will do it because that will just disintegrate them instead. Not to mention tearing up all the other internal organs you have.

Games (in order of appearance): Escape From Tarkov, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Ground Branch, Ready or Not.
EFT is multiplayer only but has a major cheater issue as of writing and the devs consider playing the singleplayer mod as a bannable offense.
Insurgency: Sandstorm has somewhat drifted away from realism and is overall the most arcade-y out of all these games but is still fun. I recommend the 2014 prequel for a more grounded experience.
I admittedly have yet to play Ground Branch but a friend of mine has and from his testimony its like if those "Gmod realism" videos became a fully fledged game. Use a fancy gun to move around and kill a bunch of NPCs, sometimes with an objective. It's still in development but if you enjoy that stuff I mentioned in Gmod you'll probably enjoy this game.
Ready or Not, also in development. Haven't played and I don't have any friends I can ask about it. Heard the AI is competent and that there's a fair amount of content.
EDIT: Got both Ground Branch and RoN. Ground Branch is basically tactical barbie with barebones AI. RoN vanilla AI makes the game less SWAT simulator and Terminator survival horror, get mods. Tarkov also got a whole new maelstrom of shit from scummy business practices.

Entry wounds for a 9mm are tiny, and if you aren't hitting an artery or a vital organ with a lot of blood flow, you might not even get much blood exiting the wound.

A stupid immense amount of recoil on every gun is what they all get wrong. A trained professional isnt gonna be blown back by a 9mm. Pistol especially like this game. What a joke. Looks like the first time hes ever shot a pistol with that much blow back.
I'd argue most guns have more recoil than most games show. I bet pov shooting by a pro would have this much, or more recoil.

I think the recoil on most of the games in the video are accurate with the exception of tarkov.
Have you ever seen videos of people shooting guns for the first time and being shocked by how much recoil they have, trained professionals make it look easy because they are PROFESSIONALS, they have trained to resist recoil. I once saw a video where a person was so surprised by the recoil they fucking fainted.
That fallen pole to get on top of something in the beginning gave me huge flashbacks on the map Riot from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Depend on what part of the body you shoot, in mostly cases it remains inside of the body. Yeah sometimes if for example you shoot in the finger of the hand, obviously it will pass through it but it's quite rare to shoot these parts so the solution of the games are correct
In all reality, the one thing I hate about Tarkov (despite the fact I love the game) is how “nothing” bullets can feel. I can pop a guy in the chest and he still has a window to sprint, line up a shot and headshot me.
In a game focused on hyper realism, I definitely thought bullets and wounds would do more damage, cause more weapon sway, or still cause damage even if hitting armor.
Tarkov tried to combine hardcore, realistic mechanics with looter-shooter core gameplay.
If they make most guns have a quick time-to-kill then no one would be running expensive armor.
