Once the hyacinth has died off, leave the leaves to dry back entirely then cut them off, then shove the bulbs into a pot on the roof garden and they will come back every spring, no hassle and beautiful smells 🌸 🌺 🌹 🐝

Really like the red Amaryllis in the background. Stunning. Typically a Holiday plant but Spring works too. Little known fact: if you cut-off the Anther/Stamen (where the pollen lives), inside the petal - the plant will keep in bloom just a wee bit longer. 👍👍👍

Hi Mr Carrington. Great finds all good quality items. Love the sound of the flower bombs 🤗. I went op shopping today which in short is opportunity shop shopping at thrift stores. I found a lovely double sided fluffy blanket and a few other clothing items for free at St Vincent de Paul. Then I bought three $1 clothing items there. At St Johns op shop I bought 2 lots of three items for $2 all great. One was the perfect wide leg dress pants. I had been looking for this exact style and perfect length - bonus🎉Then pot plant saucers and a plastic tray all for $3 at the same place. So happy with everything, yay to thrifting🙏😇
Spent $13 all up very happy with that. Just had a cuppa tea with a nice dunking of biscuits. Ahhh how nice it is to find bargains and dunk.😊👍🦋

Love your videos, viewing from New Zealand. Author Paul Gallico wrote several cat books but my favourite is "The Silent Miaow" with the story from the mother cat's perspective of teaching her kitten how to ingratiate itself in a new home. It is a classic and so enjoyable. Any caregiver of a cat will recognise all the cat behaviours . . . definitely proves the theory that dogs have owners and cats have staff.
I love your videos. Regarding the Rose in the lovely tin. Those roses actually prefer to be outside I’m up north in Yorkshire and all mine are outdoors and thriving It should actually say on the packaging xx

Love the black jacket with the eye, ladybird and other designs on it, something totally different to wear. Some great finds as usual though I do tend to pick out shirts for you in the charity shops you visit and then wait to see if you bought them 😂
The Fendi wallet was a fabulous purchase. You will have that forever. I really like the grey hoodie and that is a great layering piece too.

Cool finds! I think the seed bombs are an excellent idea, I've had issues in the past with the birds stealing all of my flower seeds. Looking forward to hitting charity shops soon after I've recovered from my upcoming surgery!

Iwan, I wonder if you could expand and Collab with other youtubers/friends on doing 5 min video on thrifted items and how they've used them in their home and a 2 minute vlog on "what you wearing" mainly thrifted clothing. Would you consider that please. Also a "whats for tea" showing vloggers cooking and setting table for dinner.

Feel like I'm right there with you at the boot sale. I live in California now. However, as a child & through my twenties would travel to England with my English born mom & dad to visit family and we'd always go to a few here & there. Great fun. I miss that. All the best!!

I am totally gutted about Paperchase too! next week is their last week trading from their shops I believe, up to 80% off now! I have been in the stores and online a few times, got some real bargains, but I wish I had picked up one of those scrap books, they are lovely. Love the Cat books, coat hooks, and the little wallet, how sweet is that? I look forward to seeing where you are off to with your few days away. You got a couple nice jackets too, that linnen one will be great for cool summer days or nights. Like the seed bombs, but they didn't have them online which was a shame. I have got a couple half wall planters and some solar lights though, and going to make a light feature for the garden that you showed us the other day. Oh please read the series of books by Derek Tangye !!! They had me in fits of laughter and also sobbing at some points …they are about a guy and his wife who leave London to buy a farm in Cornwall and the cats that move in with they over the years …true stories …and amazingly heartwarming !! I recommend them to any cat lover !! 💕💕

Start growing fruit and vegetables and other things outside in containers, use seeds from supermarket vegetables, chillies, peppers, melon, if you have potatoes that have started to sprout just plant them in containers outside in a container

I remove all stains with washing up liquid. Just rub it in and wash it like normal next day. Works every time.
i purchased a ladies per una bright red corduroy coat for £2.50 at a local charity shop.. i couldn't leave it behind!
Just realised I could get to that Boot Sale quite easily. Loved the haul. I liked the soap bar - I remember Vanish used to do a soap bar which was really good but you can't get it now. And the flower bombs. I have something similar to plant - my kind of gardening! Thanks Iwan!

Another entertaining and informative video. 😊 A wee suggestion if you do decide to wash your faux sheeting jacket, turn it inside out to wash. Set the machine to a wool wash cycle or the gentle one on your machine then turn it right side out to dry on a hanger. Done! 😀. See you in your next vlog! 😊

I spied some really expensive creams , i would have grabbed. And a basket beach bag.Loved your zipped hooded soft jumper to travel. Also trying to bond with our two cats, i find playing does a lot to do that, so i trail a toy mouse across the catch scratcher , they love that. Now for the first time in over a year, one is now venturing nearby on the bed, and lap. So winning slowly. They just aren't lap cats, so fingers crossed 🤞🤞

Hi Mr. C! My favorites of your finds were the Fendi wallet (loved the hand stitching on it) and the black jacket with the bead work. I'm a sucker for beads! Well, I was going to stay out of the thrift shops for awhile, but yesterday was 10% off Tuesday (March 28th). I found a Faded Glory denim jacket for $9.99 and a pair of black tooled leather Dansko's in my size, which is hard to find, practically brand new for $14.99 both with the 10% discount. I scored.
