If I had a box of tacks, a candle and match in the house sitting on top of the table, I won't stick tacks on the wall, when the table can serve to hold the candle steady and will not burn a hole on my wall. Making sure that the open box of tacks are stored away in a safe place, in case someone accidental spill it over the floor and steps on it - it need no intuition but logic. Intuition would already tell you as she warned the subject, to be careful not to burn the wall if you stick a candle on a combustible wall!
I don't think this is fair. If I were in my house I'd feel free to use any materials, but in this game, the interviewer implies that she can only use the tacks, matches and the candle. By not using the box, I don't believe that the person being tested doesn't have intuition, it means that she is trying to "play the game correctly" versus trying to solve an actual real-life problem. Besides, I don't think that flimsy box would stay up with just a few tacks honestly.
it doesn't matter which one is better idea, the main conclusion of the task is that your mind is not open to new things or new possibilities unless you learnt them already, instead it chooses the one which you used earlier and a easier one.
I think the girl with blonde hair came with a better solution Because the case was plastic, the candle won't fall, but in Sri case the base is paper, though thick paper but still it might bend, even though it was out closer to the wall
Both are wrong. She first tells that the lights are gone and room is dark. But you need to FIRST LIGHT UP THE CANDLE TO GET LIGHT AND THEN DO ALL THE CLIPPINGS. Utter foolishness.

Also, a bunch of tacks rolling around in the dark without a box sounds like a bad idea.
and another item that we could have used is the table. mouth the table to the wall using the tacks and voila... or eureka whichever you prefer

Cap, not everyone is like that.

The lights went out too often where she is from, so her eyes adapted. 😳

Playing poker strengthens your intuition the best
👎🏼
And one night vision to pined the box on the wall without lighting the candle first in the dark room 😂😂
The first thing to do is light the match because human beings can't see in the dark.
She is Indian people...
We have regular power cut...
Not institution but regular practice I'd say
lol but not in my area

Beautiful eyes 😘😘
I thought the thumbnail was for a horror film...
Wow!
gash danggit i've been hoodwinked!
Why does she need to attach the candle on the wall in the first place?
This concept of intuition disagrees with Daniel kahnamen studies about the system 1 and system 2, in his book "Thinking fast and slow"
दिलचस्प!!
Omg Lilly Singh back in the day
You can light the candle by keeping it over the table , y need to fix it over the wall 🤷
But the box was used to hold the tacks.....
asians envy you sri!
