@@sovukh843 They made changes to the coords for resources and it has effected all of the coords for cave locations as well. These are all now off by 5-10 clicks in every direction. See my EDIT above.

Apologies folks, but Skylord is missing from the list. At the time I'm sure Skylord wasn't required to face the boss(still confused how this was missed). However I can confirm it's at 62.1, 59.1 and will be including it in the map survivor guide.
Raas, maybe some issue with the gps coord, the entrance cave for the artifact of the brute, dont show me the same coord i dont remember but my entrance dont gave me 82.7-82.1 If i remember its more 86 something, maybe its an issue with the gps
Not sure why. But I'm following your guide on PS4. Everything is where you say it is but for some reason all the cave entrances are covered by dirt. I can walk through it but it's covered
@@chriscarr9247 yeah I've noticed the exact same thing. It looks like a really rough render of a sand pile in front of the cave entrances. Once you've been there and seen it and walked through it, it's easy to find next time.
The Artifact of the Devourer isn´t anymore at 78.4/ 20.9. Now it is on 82.6 / 16.1 just for those who are searching 1h and more and don´t find it either like me.
@@Raasclark my theorie is that there are different spots where it can spawn. But also the cords 78.4/20.9 are much closer to the bigger island than before, it's technically the beach and I guess they changed some parts of the map there.
the caves on this map *especially* the labrynth one are *absolutely* a test for how they'll play in Ark 2 and I for one can't wait to see them continue to experiment with unique assets more and more. (just hope Ark 2 has far better optimization Lost Island barely even functions on PS5)
It functions, it's just that the frame drops are frequent if you're crossing into another biome with a number of trees and rock formations that need to load in. It's a neat map, but it's probably too much for last gen consoles.
found that "exit cave" by accident as it is literally just below my base (single player). Went into K mode and checked the surroundings and found there is indeed stuff behind that wall - spent a good hour looking for a button to open it with no joy. glad I finally know what it is.
just found a way togo throug the labyrinth. the room that you see after the artefacts (the round one) has an almost direkt conection to the start of the labyrinth ( almost just straight and up the stairs).then just follow the way back and you went directly to the Massive artefact. you get the other one going back to the round room and following this upstair path the other way. Then you follow straight (dont turn unless no other way exists) and once you reach a split, go right and straight, where you should find the stairs leading to a ramp, and you follow that to devious, or you go further up the stairs to escape the labyrinth.
Rad park you literally showed the exact way I put you video on point five speed and just Walt the same way out for anyone wanting to bring a tame it pointless but you’ll want your movements speed up so the traps don’t hit you thank you again for helping me I hope the slower I watch your videos the more video time you get you know???? 😅
This vid has a lot of good caves to build in it, but the best is still abb cave. Its the largest, with a very stego shaped entrance. Plus ive noticed raasclarck avoiding showing off abb cave. In this vid he obviously took a slower more tunnel based path to the artifact. He also only showed the righthand walls saying "keep to the right" keeping large areas completely out of view. It got the least screen time aswell. Therefore i think he might be trying to hide it from the public as much as possible so he might claim it for himself on his monarky playthrough.

Is it still advisable to use a Baryonyx for these caves?.... I only just started on this map a couple of days ago and I'm not quite ready yet. I did the first cave fine but got my butt handed to me 3 times in the cave of the strong haha, it's got some nasty raptors n Carnos down there. My 264 Barry can handle almost anything, it's just when I get knocked off that things go south haha.
I’m going to try and take my argi and mae to help complete these :) I’ll let you know the no take zones lol my argi levels up nice with killing spiders and scorpions so I hope I can take him I put level up on flying speeds so I can’t wait to just be unbelievably fast that’s when I’m going to steal my first wyvern eggs
All areas are argy approved you need a aquatic animal for the last two altho the one before last can be argy approved you are just going to do the swimming I decided to use my marking since I’ve already explored that area and new it was all water

Dude! I spent hours in the 'infinity gauntlet' labyrinth looking for Artifacts, thinking there was a 'secret' to spawn them in. Going to be covering that separately soon and my theories! Loving the map 😍
So what do you recommend for dinos to ride into these caves? Shadowmanes? Thylas? Baryonyx? Think I stumbled across my first cave late last night, but didn't feel right going in there with just an ascendant shotgun and my skivvies! Lol
As a cave explorer I recommend bary(especially for those water parts) or Saber And with the addition of the sinomacrops Have that on your back for the flight and the ability to carry artifact(that is confirmed right???)
@@tuckmasterg I agree, baryonyx are usually our first choice as well, but sometimes a bred thyla and the ability to climb a wall is a bonus. I think the shadowmanes might give a baryonyx a run for it's money, but not if it can't squeeze into the tight spaces as well.
Is it just some bug on my side or they did something to whistles? Every time I use "attack my target" or "attack this target" tames automatically stop following me. This is very annoying, especially during Savage Acro bossfight

But there's no ship there. It's at the coords I put. Can anyone confirm this. I'm on single player but that shouldn't change the location.
I wish water on this map is more alive. You lucky when you see something else than megalodon. Literally nothing to do there. Aberation also one big disapointment. I like surface tho. Even if most of places is uneven ground hard to build it looks much better than the island center valguero ragna and all basic maps. In terms of activities - zero exept learning caves. I missed it after genesis 2 without single cave

You get dizzy making this? I can tell you I did when I went through the caves, there are so much twists and corners. The caves are so big 😭😆

Ark really gave me the middle finger in the aberration cave. There’s an alpha carno at the bottom of the waterfall

its a console command cheat, if you type "cheat fly" in the console you can fly very fast and also through water ;)
