Never considered a Taurus until I saw a G2C at a gun show four months ago. One of the dealers had a table full of them and line of people waiting to buy one for $179. I handled one and it felt nice. Went home and did my research on it. Bought one two weeks later for the same price I found them at the gun show. Did a range day and was impressed. I liked it so well I bought a G3 for $229. Love this one even better! My wife had a Ruger SR9 but kept complaining that the grip was too large. I bought a G2C for her birthday in December 2019. She couldn’t maintain a good grip on it so she tried my G3... at 21 feet her hits on target were making a ragged hole. She now keeps it by her bedside and I now have two G2C’s🙄 I plan on buying another G3 as I really like the feel of it. Both G2C’s, and G3, have night sights and stainless steel channel liner from LakelineLLC. The G2C’s also have full length stainless guide rods, and striker springs, from LakelineLLC. He’s correct in that the G3 shoots just as good as some more expensive guns. I own 6 Glocks, 3 SigSauers, 5 CZ’s, and so on, and the G3 shoots just as good as any of them. Ya can’t beat it for the price and lifetime warranty. I think the other manufactures need to take notice.
Got my G3 last month. Went to the range last weekend. Had to go to a public range run by the county because the public land area was closed due to high fire risk. So I set up next to a guy with a Glock, which one? I don't know, I am not a Glock fanboy, so I just know it was a Glock because he was talking to the range officer about it. Anyway, first time shooting my G3, and I am not the greatest pistol shooter, but I still had more consistent tight shot groups at 5, 10 and 25 yards than Glockboy did, Buahahaha!!! Love my G3!!!
i bought one here in september 2021. first range day with it i tossed a large can out at about 30 feet. the first seventeen rounds made the can jump around . i only ever had problems with hollowpoints in this weapon
Nice, Honest Review Allan, I purchased a G2c two months ago after watching your review on it and couldn't be happier, great little Pistol, now I'm considering the G3, btw, I picked up a Springfield Armory Xds .45 acp last weekend, what are your thoughts on this Pistol? Thanks.
Finally got my G3 If this gun performs and shoots as well as my G2C I know I will love it Taurus has really stepped up its game Great gun for the money by far . As I said toe naysayers Don’t knock it until you try it.
I like my G3 for sure. If and when Taurus puts the g3 trigger shoe in the g2c I'll nab one of them too. I know two people whose g2c triggers have broken. They sent them back to Taurus for repairs and one took 4 months to get it back and the other guy's gun was gone for 5 months and three weeks. That's a li'l ridiculous.
longer slide, and therefore longer sight radius, less recoil due to weight, bigger magazine (which the G3c can also use, mind), fuller grip. I own both, but prefer the G3c due to having the addition of glock sights, meaning I get loads of choices for setting up sights, on top of being able to use full G3 magazines if i need more rounds, and for being much handier and smaller in general.
i think your dreaming when you say the little sleeve at the bottom of the magazine could get caught-up on your palm. please, i never had a problem, i never heard of anyone having a problem with this sleeve. once the magazine is in place in the firearm.... there is NO movement of the sleeve what-so-ever. i would rather have the sleeve in place when firing then to use the firearm WITHOUT IT as YOU suggested.

What sights did you get? Did you put them on yourself? How difficult is it to do correctly. Any special tool to get the sights off/on?

Just got my yesterday for $250. So for I really like it.
Doing work out in the cold!👍. Hard to beat the total value of this one. Great review!
I’m not a Taurus guy but nice review. I’m subbed.

I love olde English and I love my G3. I have some high dollar guns, but between my g3 and m9 the others dont come out much
I have the G2C and love it, plan to use the G3 for winter carry. Thanks for the review!
Very good gun. Right there with both G19 and G17.
I just ordered one today. Thanks for review!
I like the steel guide rod in this vs the polymer guide rod in the Ruger security 9
Great Review.....Just as good as 500 600 Dollar guns
Over $300.00 now, but still a good deal..
I have this Taurus g3 in matte black brand new. I’m planning on breaking it in with 200 rounds. Nice review by the way.
How was the experience?
@@ابومحمد-ض2ص1ظ it was great

Just got mine last week and I'm sending it in for repair tomorrow I havent even shot it yet
what was wrong that you had to send it back?
@@allanbrown747 his barrel won't come out when he tried ti disassemble it.
This is my first handgun and gun.
Great review!
excellent review
I have the Taurus TX 22 and it has an ambi safety. I wonder why Taurus doesnt offer the same on the G2 and G3 series?
I love my g3
Grip hurts on conceal carry. Any suggestions?
What kind of holster are available in the market for the G3 TORO with optics and lights installed?
Good review.
Correction the rear sight is not fixed, it's drift adjustable.
To make a Glock true perfection just laser engrave Glock on the side of this pistol
The title is for the Taurus, but in the description it mentions the review is for the Shield EZ 9.
Fixed!
They fit my g2c kydex perfect easy to conceal too, same dimensions as g2c just about 3/4" longer barrel really not much difference at all
Great video.
Anyone know if it will fit in a glock 17/22 holster? Or an M&P 1.0/2.0 holster? Thanks...
Leather mostly yes, kydex no
Recoil spring steel?
Besides the 4 less bullets how does the G3 compare to the G3c
I have the G3 I'm considering the g3c for concealed carry

Just bought a g3 i have notice a rattling sound in the lower frame what could it be?something is loose.
Part number 4.19 but nothing wrong
I LOVE MINE
could the sleeve be super glued on the 17 round mag.?
I glued mine down. No problems so far, I've probably run around 200 rounds out of the 17 rd mag. It's a silly design choice but not a deal breaker.
Are they legal in California?
They make a 10 round version for Commie California.
The best gun
Does anyone else have a weird rattle in their G3 ?? Coming towards the back in the frame ?
Taurus mags are famous for the rattling

Yes. It's your money getting dumped on the ground.
@@jsalt261 Just picked up a G3. The 15 round magazine rattled. I called Taurus. They said send it back and they'll replace it.

Let's support a company and a country that doesn't allow its citizens to own the product they are producing. 🙄
Does taurus set gun policy in their country
