- It's time to get our hands dirty with our contest aquascape. Will show you how to build the rocks (some modest 200 kilos or 441 pounds) for the contest tank, based on the visual design made by concept artist Éva Kedves. This was a big and time-consuming work, Balazs spent 4 full days on gluing the hardscape and one more day on moving the layout in it's place to the aquarium. We will show you what aspects of a contest tank we consider during the hardscape building process.

CANNOT WAIT to see what the final product is going to be. I do enjoy the nano scapes but seeing something like this being built at this scale is awesome. The video doesn't show much planning, work, and rework that takes to do this! It's going to look amazing!

You do look like a professional( lol) . This is more stunning than the fotoshopped example, what a puzzle! Turned out unreal beautifull. I think everybody comments WoW or something like that but I m still looking for words that fit this Masterpiece. You( and GA) entered the top 3 of the world in " professional " Aquascaping. Dave Chow is gonna ask you to do a workshop and I think mr Amano would smile when he sees this. I m gonna watch this again, thanks Balazs.

I gotta say, I usually don't care much for aquascapes that recreate miniature versions of life-size landscapes, mimicking trees and such, but I'm excited to see how this one turns out. I can certainly appreciate the effort and craft put into building it.
