That happened to me recently. I woke up in the morning, and the room was darker than usual, and there was something floating above me. I could actually see it was like this big black cloud
When ricky was decribing the shadow figure in his room i was imagining ricky looking up scared only for it to be chris saying BLEGH 😭 but i would love to hear more of his scary stories and even the other band memebers stories

Hi, Ricky! So, I’m a professional witch (yes, really) so while I’m not exactly a paranormal investigator, I def do spooky shit for a living 😂 so here’s my notes (if you want lol). All of this very well could be practical - could be your imagination, the black figure in your room could have been sleep paralysis (and that shit is SCARY), there’s totally practical explanations…But it’s fun to think of the spooky possibilities! As far as the chest goes, haunted objects definitely do exist. However it’s likely not actually linked to VooDoo; to my knowledge, VooDoo is practiced by initiation only, and apart from selling voodoo dolls like the one you have, practitioners of voodoo tend to keep their practice to themselves and their group. The doll would definitely not have anything malevolent attached to it if you got it from a voodoo shop in New Orleans. The little raven/crow figurine you have looks like obsidian, and I couldn’t tell what the little green charm tied to it was, but that was definitely meant to be protective! It’s also worth noting that you travel a lot, and visit a lot of haunted venues, and very well could have brought something (or someone) home with you…but IF that is the case, not all ghosts are bad! Sometimes they just like to hang out. I experience a lot of the noises you mentioned hearing - but of course, I’m intentionally inviting spirits in, haha! I loved listening to this story, and I hope you’ll tell more! 😊

Tiny story for you: my mom asked me to go grab clothes from downstairs in the dryer for her, but i never went down to get them (and didnt plan on it lol). She later yelled to me “thanks for grabbing that!”. I thought that was sarcasm because i didnt. I told her sorry i never got it and she said that i physically walked in, handed her the clothes, gave her a blank look and walked away. Wasnt me!! Never left my room. Totally freaked me out.
I want more spooky stories! 🖤 I think that some people are more open to paranormal, so they experience that kind of things. By being open I mean being aware and believe in paranormal or being in a low-vibrating mode, so something can attach to them. It seems that you are in the first group just like me. I can say that I've been through weird situations which I can't explain. So I will tell you some examples, Ricky, because you've asked for it 😁
Once, I was in a death camp. I live in Poland and here we have some of that kind of places after Second world war. So I was in Lublin im Majdanek. While I was visiting one of the enormous barracks, I heard a woman singing somewhere in the distance. It was so freaking scary, because nobody else spotted anything. There wasn't many people around, because it was a rainy, cold September day. This camp is huge and I think that only somebody who is insane would sing a song in the place, where thousands of people died. Till this day , I think that it was someone, a woman, who died in Majdanek and her soul stuck in there. She could be even unaware of the fact that she is dead, like she somehow glitched.
I can share another story about my grandma, who died two years ago. I remember it was a covid time, so we decided not to visit her and her home (she lived far away from us) during All saints day, because she was old and my mum didn't want to spread any viruses on her. And she was in a good health, but you know, my mum wanted to be cautious. I was mad at her, because I wanted to see grandma. I told my mother that maybe this would be the last time to see her and this could be the last time to say goodbye to her. And you know what? Grandma died a month later. I couldn't be at her funeral, because I was so sick that day (not a covid) and I was unable to even get out of the bed. I began to feel remorse that I couldn't be at the ceremony. Also I felt bad that I said something which happened to become a some kind of a death prophecy. After couple of months I woke up at night. It was so dark around, but I saw my grandma. She was standing next to the window looking through it and when she realized I was seeing her, she turned her head and looked at me. Then she vanished. She was in some kind of light, so I was able to see her in the dark.
I can tell you more weird, spooky stories. When you experience something like that once, it comes back. And if it comes to the objects you mentioned, I suggest you to burn them if you think they're cursed or haunted. Fire purifies everything, cleans the space. Also I suggest you to consecrate your house. I don't think you are a religious person, me neither, but this could help. Especially if that something in your house would start to be more evil. At the end it's all about the faith. I mean, there are all kinds of religions, but they have one thing in common, they are all true, because people believe in them. Without the human faith, they wouldn't exist. They have some sort of power driven by human energy. So it doesn't matter, if you will ask a priest or a pastor or a rabbi to come to your household. It all will work. And the things in the other side will bent over such a huge power coming from many of people.
Funfact: Ghost etc is just normal for gothic people bcs we the perfect medium for this type of creatures.
The fact that Ricky has a haunted house like me is very huge of "finally someone who understands me..." I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with your ghost friend ❤

I would put a circle of salt around that spot the spirit was acting like there were “stairs” cause that’s a sign it’s a doorway/portal. Also leave the salt there for at least three days 🖤 love ya Rick

I have a weird ghost story of my own. In 2007, my grandpa died. At the time I was 7, so I didn’t really grasp death, ya know. The day after he died, I was with my grandma at her house.
She is the best grandma ever. She had turned her basement into an art studio/play area for me and the other grandkids.
Grandma and I were in the basement doing cute crafty things and then the power went out. So she told me she was going to run back upstairs to get some flashlights and what not. So I stayed in the basement.
In the dark.
As I sat there, terrified already, I saw my late grandpa walk down the steps and stop at the bottom to look at me. I screamed from the top of my lungs and hid under the table I was sitting at. Then he disappeared into dust it seemed. I haven’t experienced anything like that since then. 👻

Would definitely love more ghost stories from you! Also I think it’s fascinating that the shadow-people are a universal experience. I used to see them all the time in my mom’s house. Her boyfriend moved in after I left and now he sees them too.
I know I’m late to this (I loved this video btw, and I love this channel) but when I lived with my parents, there was a night were it was thunder storming, and I was taking a shower (stupid I know) and the power cut out. I’m spooked asf, and when the power came back on, I saw a shadowy figure walk towards the bathroom door on the outside of the shower curtain. It was really creepy.
There was also a time where I was upstairs in my room getting ready for a firefighter funeral, and I’m listening to music (I think it was BVB or TAA) and all of a sudden I felt like something was watching me, but there was no windows behind me, they’re to my right. The only thing behind me is a stained wall of drawers and closets. And when I whip around and throw my hairbrush at the wall (because it’s what I had in my hand and i was scared) the feeling of being watched vanished instantly.
I don’t know if the history of the house has something to do with it. It’s the oldest house in the little village that my parents live in, first house built, it’s over 100 years old (definitely a fixer upper) and the owners previous to my family was a man and a woman. The man 😵 by his own hand (supposedly), and when the investigation was being done, it was found that the…rope that was attached to the man’s neck was tied to something behind him as opposed to above him, so everyone thought it was foul play. The woman 😵 from a heart attack, inside the house, and a ball cap that the man used to own is upstairs in my old room, in the top drawer of the set of drawers that is in between the two closets.😬

I have theories of what might be happening, but most people call me crazy when I say it out lout, but it is a great story. I could watch and listen to you tell more of these but that is me. I have lived in a lot of haunted places and still have my "friends" that follow me around. Doesn't sound like anything destructive, maybe more mischievous. I love hearing spooky stories. I've had some experiences of my own, but I'm also someone who likes to find an explanation why something happened.
Stellar job with the sound design, the low bass rumble made me pause and take off my headphones. I haven't had any experiences that couldn't be explained away except one. When I was 12 my brother was killed by a drunk driver while living in another province. On the morning his body was being returned my mom and I were just getting started on the day when the door to the house flew opened and slammed shut just like David always had done. We looked at each other and said he's home. It happened at the same time that the plane landed. My mom and I have both felt him with us from time to time since then.

Since you asked to hear some stories, I thought I’d share one that sticks out to me.
Back when my wife and I were doing long distance we’d have the iPad set up before going to bed and we’d talk/watch stuff before going to sleep and one night, I woke up or thought I had woken up because I was standing next to my bed and my body was still in bed in the position I had fallen asleep in. So I was basically watching myself sleep, but I wasn’t freaking out or anything, just kinda standing there staring. Then I heard a noise in the attic of the house which was above my room so I went up to see what it was. What was also really strange is you know when you walk and you hear your feet on the ground? There was nothing. As I was walking I didn’t hear my own footsteps as I took each step. I felt like air pretty much. I went to open the attic door and same thing where you’d hear your hand on the doorknob as it made contact with it, etc, again no noise from that whatsoever. Walking up the wooden attic stairs, again, no noise from my feet going up the steps.
I get to the top and the light is on. Then I’m standing almost in the center of the attic and I see something small in my peripheral run past me and when I look down it was a little girl. If I had to guess, no more than 7-9 years old. She was wearing one of those old night gowns kids wore way back in the day, had long dark hair, and was holding what looked like an old hand made doll. She looked up at me and said “Hi” and I remember running downstairs (again still no noise from my feet hitting the ground as I booked it out of there), ran to the bed where my body was still asleep, jumped in bed but the way I jumped was right into position with how I was sleeping and woke up.
I’ve had some encounters in the past that I couldn’t necessarily explain, but this to me definitely sticks out the most. Not 100% sure what that was all about, but it definitely freaked me out.

I'm loving this! Thank you for sharing. I see ghosts and get premonitions. My late brother and our cat ghosts haven't visited since I moved home. Maybe they're at peace. I think being home alone n being tired or sick definitely has me hearing things. There's arguments about frequencies we can hear/feel. Strange n fascinating how our minds work. I love it n embrace it lol.
Back at my old house when I was a younger, I heard a music box playing in the attic in my mom's room and then in my room I had a dark shadow that would move when I'm not and stop when I do, it was really weird.... loved hearing your ghost story Ricky, keep it up man, stay safe

I have had a similar thing happen with your bed story where I woke up suddenly to find an orb hovering over me and eventually fading into the wall. I chalked it up to sleep paralysis even though I've never had it before nor since then. Has your dog Fester reacted to any weird happenings since this has been going on?

The chest might have an attachment to it. I have had many paranormal encounters. I grew up in a house that was haunted by my grandmother. I have stories upon stories to tell but it's a lot. You should definitely make more videos about the spook!👻
