I’ve heard a lot of people say really good things about
“Rip-Cords” their great for on the go so you don’t have to pick and choose whether the USB port charges your SP or if it’s used for audio and MIDI.
You can still power your device off a portable battery and have the USB free for whatever!
Great video that was needed. I just got my SP404MK2 today ironically and was just looking at videos to build up the hype. I really want a stand. Thanks again!
The Magma CTRL Case is better than the Analog case for the SP404 mk2. It also fits the decksaver and actually comes with a decent padding to protect your device if you DON'T have a Decksaver. I also have that same BaseUS 65w power bank, but I would add the 9v myVolts cable to run it off of instead of using the USB C port. I use my USB C port to sample from my Samsungf S20 phone, so having the myVolts cable frees up that port. Great video though!
This comment is so useful, thanks you!
@@fefo.0465 No problem!
6v cable works better since 3.0 update. Don’t fry your circuit
@@dja.selekta The cable itself doesn't generate any power. It has to do with how much power it can transfer. I use a 65w powerbank, which is what the 404 mk2 needs to run properly. The mk2 is not going to "ask" for more power than it needs. Unless you have a faulty 404 mk2 that "asks" for more power than it needs, you would never need to worry about that. Understand how electronics work and you'll get what I'm saying....
totally agree. i have over half of these. i just wish it was like the mpc live 2 with built in battery & speaker
I too wish it had a built in rechargeable battery. Speaker- ehh. Not necessary for me, but it'd be cool! Although it'd probably be much bigger at that point
Extra faceplates should be a thing that you can just buy without having to make a special parts request. I also ordered an extra faceplate.
I agree. They should be online easily available. I also wish that they had aftermarket pad replacements - different colors and stuff. That way the machine could be even more customizable. Thanks for watching!
I also agree! Oh and about the pads, I reached out to MpcStuff a couple months about having custom pads for the MK2. They said they’re working on that👏🏾
That gold faceplate is sick
I got that gold skin too. It looks so nice !
I wish you could buy a sheet of just the markings,so you could just stick it on top of whatever you covered your faceplate with.
I guess you could print the label template onto clear vinyl sticker like a laminate cover
Great stuff! Shalom.
duuuuuude WHAT that first beat ... sooo fuckin dope man! It's amazing really.
Was that made on the SP as well?
Thanks dude! It's my beat, I made it on a sp404.

Have you had any problems with the battery pack? Also how long will the battery pack power the sp?
I have had no problem with the battery pack. It's been super reliable. I've gotten over 6 hours with it. Honestly, I haven't used it long enough to find out how long it lasts until it's completely dead.
Does the deck saver work with the custom DJTT knobs? I saw at the end you had the custom knobs up top with the deck saver on but I always wondered if the aftermarket Push/Enter knob is too big/tall for the deck saver.
The cover still fits, it is held up by the knob by a little bit, but it's not really noticable to me
@@ABSTRACT_MUSIC cool thanks! I'll pick one up then and see.
@@JaeHimself awesome dude! I have affiliate links in the description if your interested! I earn a tiny commission if you buy through my links. If not it's cool! ✌️👍👍

@@ABSTRACT_MUSIC Thank you for your reply, I like you music!

👀I"m liking that metal stand. Imma have to cop a couple of those
I bought 2 of them a couple weeks ago of Amazon for like maybe 6 bucks
@@Deaphdot1 whaaat, they going for that cheap!? I hope that price still remains
@@KainThaBrain just keep searching. As I was looking I saw them range depending on the seller from 6-17. Even at 17 totally worth it they are great
@@Deaphdot1 You’re right about that! I’ve done that plenty of times shopping on Amazon and end up finding better deals in the ‘Similar Items’ section after scrolling down the page. You definitely know how to shop sirr lol.
'it seems to play samples straight from the internal memory'
Why even bother to make a video on something you haven't bothered to invest the time into researching?
