It definitly has some issues luckily as of last night they came out with an update fixing the 1 stage online and the volume bug and a list of other issues. Seen some ppl play it online last night and they were happy with the fixes. Thx for the review and u did some real nice custom panels to this looks great.
Thx yeah I played with update a few time yesterday and much better having rando stages I'd give a 7/10 now for that reason. If it had better buttons and the Marquee art was higher quality than I'd jump it up to a 9 but hey this is Arcade 1up and QC isn't there thing lol.
@@marcamusprime9513 Because at the time of making the vid I had not updated the cab. I added in the descrip at the time I uploaded it that there was in fact an update. Sorry that is lame to you. I didn't feel like doing twice the work because of that one thing. I have a life outside making youtube videos and making everyone happy.
I agree with what you said. Most but not all of the issues have been fixed. I think $600 is worth it if you want all the games on here. Buying the Sega Saturn & Dreamcast Physical Version of each one & totaling all together is going to be over $600. I would play it a lot more, but the tilted angle of the Control Panel hurts both my whole arms. It was the only Cabinet I wanted from Arcade1Up being that I'm a big Fighting Game Fan. I do wish I can just hook up my own Fight Stick through USB to play the games though.
Man I love your arcade! yes the side artwork for MVC 2 1up arcade machine is nice. The side art used on this was the original cover art for MVC 2 (USA- PS2 Version). When it was released in USA around 2002 for PS2. do you also have arcade1up machines that are modded?
Thx and I haven't modded many others visually like this with a different deck. The other stuff I've done is just added fake coin doors and black vinyl on the bottom to make all my cabs match up. :)
Thanks and I drew out the design on paper then came up with the layout using gimp on my pc. Gave the info to my wife and she used her cricut to cut out the vinyl for me.
also you mention that you have the ps3 digital version of MCV2 ( which is obviously quite rare) is that able to be ported over to hyper spin or emulation to play? The ps3 version of MVC2 was incredible!
I think I spent more time playing Marvel VS Capcom 1 than 2. I rarely go to the arcades and only own a Playstation with the downgrades VS series port. I love my MVC1 cabinet but not very interested in the MVC2 cab knowing it's probably too hard to emulate well.
@@marcamusprime9513 I had my PS3 as well. That was already pretty good consoles. I was mostly refering to no game consoles like a PC or phone. or Rasberri Pie. And to be honest, not fully follow the emulator scenes. My last attempt was when I was still in school. Back then there wasn't a full 100% emulation for Dreamcast.
My wife helped me a lot. She has a cri-cut and I designed and measured what I wanted in a program called gimp. She then cut out all the pieces for me. I'd make a tutorial but I myself am a noob with cri-cut and would hate to try and teach that not knowing what I'm doing. My wife doesn't have time to do it either cuz she barely has time to do this sorta stuff for me. What I can do is tell you to learn a little gimp and get you a design or picture you like then get your measurements together. After that have some place like Walmart print it off and use your acrylic top to mark your holes then cut them out. I've done this before with arcade sticks and works great! :)
@@GamersReckoning thanks for the advice, it’s awesome how you make your own art. Sometimes Arcade1up makes some questionable choices on their art. I’ll look into it. Thanks again
Damn it took 9 months for them to fix the online and audio bug. I’m not supporting 1up anymore. Even if it may be the best fighting game of all time. They didn’t do MVC2 justice. Great review!
Sorry not really. I just used some vinyl and used my imagination. I came up with the design but the wife used her cri-cut to do the rest and I am no good with that.
The online does not function properly on mvc2. It works fine offline, as soon as you go online all the inputs are wonky, you cant even block properly. People exploit this with blackheart and sentinel. If you play competitively, do not buy this.

Keep it real is what you mean. Many reviewers read pre-made scripts and miss some key points by doing so. good stuff man, keep it up

Bro that whole room is hype as fuck. MVC 2 my fav fighting game
They should kept the board art from the other marvel cabinets since that’s the one used in a lot of the original cabinets.
Awesome room setup brother!
Appreciate it!
Great video brotha!

@@GamersReckoning thank you. Your cabinet is inspiring me to start customizing mine. Keep up the great work.
I turned mine into a big blue MVC2. I went and got a 2nd big blue SF2 CE cab and did the shell swap and changed all the graphics and artwork.
I know your Electricity bill has to be bananas
Lol it's worth it!

Not real sure about being ported to those but I can hook my ps3 up to my atgames ultimate and it works so well.
Oh how did you secure your Venom statue on the top?
Double side gorilla tape or hot glue works too.

Loved my MVC1 cab to death but the 2nd one just got me with the added support for scanlines I liked the form factor more too.

I got 19 inches of venom on my unit here
I ended up swapping mine out for a bigger one too plus added Spidey next to him. :)
How do you make your own artwork? Tutorial brother would be appreciated for us dummies

It really did deserve better and they could've and should've done better.
Do you have any info on how you re did the joy pad design?

The MVC collection was announced not too long ago so yeah big waste of money for you sir 😂😂😂
Kinda feel the same but still dig having it in cab form. Plus I got it a long time before that was announced and had plenty of good times on it. :)

I always thought that was 1 of the ugliest marquees anyway. Not great artwork.
