If they roll out a tate mode bartop filled with classic shootemups, I would be very tempted. These dealies do appeal to me, but the price is a bit too high for me. The VS-R model works well on my tv, and the 8bitdo arcade stick I bought to use with my nintendo works without any hassle. Plug & play arcade games. So I'm well set already.
@@CatFish107 very cool! Alpha does play all the carts so any shootemups work & it says other Bluetooth controllers work (not just Evercade ones). Price is crazy, but no A1ups in forever kinda justifies it for me.
U need to unscrew the screws first b4 u remove the plastic man. Yeah, I got the deluxe Steet fighter Alpha and definitely doesn't worth £249.99, just I'm a Evercade collector and have all the Cartridges. I doubt I'm gonna 1CC SSF2T on hardest 8 Level on this little thing. Ain't played on it yet, waiting for an Acrylic control panel to come out for it as don't wanna damage/wear out the control panel. I wanted the Megaman , but can't afford 2. Maybe wait for a discount one on sale and mod it.
@@XmasTablet went with MegaMan because I feel a fighter like ssf2 is best suited for a bigger control panel. I’ll be happy with it if I can fix the stuck button.
They probably just send u a new button with instructions, or compensate u some money instead. Not gonna send the whole machine back just to replace a button 🤣😂
Evercades and countercades look cool. But to me they are just a gimick item. If people want the arcade feel/experience... just get the 3/4 cabs or mega multicades. Stop wasting money on all these gimick cash grabs. Just my 2 cents. I would never buy these.
@@SpectreGaming275 home arcade scene has been stale for awhile at this point. Evercade seems like a cool product. Hoping if this Alpha does well it’ll lead to Evercade 3/4 scale that plays all the carts!
@@BarnesArcade The concept of evercade for me is based on the cartridge concept that can be used in home or handhelds... and now arcade. It is a great legal way to play retro gaming, with a real feeling of owning games. As a retro afficionado, and arcade builder, i love how the cartridge concept brought back the feeling of my teen years. My only problem is the price point, and the built quality and design overall. This could be the ultra premium brand, but they don't feel Luxe.
Definitely cool devices especially compatibility with Evercade carts but no HDMI out is a dealbreaker IMO

@@BarnesArcadeyes but no Tate mode. It needs a rotatable screen for that sadly.
Someones a Miz Fan :P
@@Popskyy you’re the 1st to get that! 😁
Nah, I will wait for Evercade Beta.
Don't worry, Blade will fix all the issues when the Evercade Z comes out 🤣😂

@@XmasTablet good point. Might be an opportunity to make a video showing how hard or easy it is to swap parts in these machines!
