I don't people realize how important of a video this is! Jeff Stoutland is the best at it, and is a future hall of fame coach. Picking his brain like this is absolutely awesome!
I love this videos Fran does... Tape study is a bit hard where you don't have an American Football culture but this really makes it easier for some of us. They are so explicative and clear when they speak about technique and some regular concepts that even we, non-natives, in far away countries people can learn from them. LOVE the EAGLES!!!!!!
He is an absolutely brilliant explainer. He knows how to find relatable metaphors that use your whole brain and sense of physical position in space. As a teacher man he is a wonder. He has helped develop or developed a number of future HOF players: Jason Peters, Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Mailata and Dickerson could also be that caliber of player as well. In two short years under Nick Saban at Alabama he generated two first round picks. It's clear why the Eagles would retain Stout through TWO different HC changes and miraculous they were able to do so. Stout replaced Howard Mudd, perhaps the largest ever pair of shoes an OL coach could ever fill. Mudd was the greatest ever and then Stout came along.
Thanks for keeping us posted ,you another great sports citizen of the city of brotherly love , this time the great Philadelphia Eagles Football team on their way to another SB win!Q GO EAGLES!! Love Ya Coach Stout!
Best video so far Fran (long-time follower). The flashy skill players are all well and good (and they are good), but you and coach (the teacher I never had) show how just a step here, a shoulder-dip there makes or breaks whatever is going to happen next (it's true isn't it, that linemen are the most intelligent players on the field). Great work and please give us more of 'life in the trenches'.
How could anybody give a thumbs down on this video? Other NFL OL coaches could learn something from this. The hate is legendary. Thank you Fran & Stoutland! It will be hard to follow this performance.
Stoutland the GOAT OL coach
This video is so informative..
He is the best position coach in the game hands down. I love the Eagles
Agree, one of the only couple of good things Chip Kelly did was bring him as O-Line coach.

This is the kind of content I’ve been waiting for from my Eagles. We want to know more than any other team. This is great content!!

I could listen to coach teach this all day! Fascinating!
One of the best offensive line coaches ever. Wish I could sit down and talk to him one day
Picture behind & to the right of coach Stoutland speaks volumes. Great coach & the Eagles are lucky to have him.
Thanks, coach for explaining this blocking scheme in detail.
He's the best in class. Glad to have him~
This is why I love football. You learn so much
I hope coach Stoutland stays with us forever 💯

We have had some good ones...Howard Mudd, Juan, and now Stout, these guys live and breathe football. Nice job Fran asking the right questions.
Hopefully Doug never makes him a defensive coordinator
Great stuff. Thank you. I’m going to take what I learned here and teach it to my youth football players.

Dante Scarnecchia and Stoutland when it comes to coaching OL 🖋️ ✏️📝 all ready coaches 🧐
Nice cut Fran
TE came in clutch
Hopefully the eagles employ him until he wants to coach no more. Priceless!
Goedert was absolutely crushed on the GB play.
Cool video but, all very high schoolish. Was opening for more but, still pretty cool.
Let's not ignore Stout and JP picture.
Please do tell what the hell is wrong with the steelers o line. Pleeeeassww
🙂
Send me practice tape
He really didn’t break anything down. He gave a vague explanation on everything that was asked of him.
Lots of good stuff covered, but you're right. He never did make it clear what the difference is between zone and gap schemes.
72 is a horse ong
TMI coach! Haha stop the video.
