  • After we got the train on the South Morrill Sub, we moved up into town and saw a headlight down the BNSF Valley Sub. I got set up in time for a BNSF loaded coal headed east. This video is also slightly out of focus.
This crossing is a 2000's BNSF install that hasn't seen any major changes.
    Locomotives:
    -BNSF 9266 (EMD SD70ACe) H3
    -BNSF 9250 (EMD SD70ACe) H3
    -BNSF 8452 (EMD SD70ACe) H3
Location: South Morrill Rd. #2 (Morrill, NE)
Train: BNSF Loaded Coal (Symbol Unknown)
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, a General Signals type 2 electronic bell, RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the left 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, RECO LED gate lights.

Nice video and crossing! Given that's a TVA coal train, and only had one locomotive on the rear, I have to suspect that may have been what becomes NS 72Z in Memphis.
