Thanks for letting us go with you Justin. It was a little windy but the audio was fine. I is always exciting to see a bunch of birds working. Another great day on the water.
You are the Catfish Dude. I totally enjoy your videos as I know so many others do also. Thanks for that. I enjoy fishing for catfish but living in the Desert Southwest it can be a challenge as we have to drive so dang far. Keep them coming, please. 😊😊
All the game wardens for a three day trip it's only $25 dollars not to far of a drive. If you and your lady want to come over and hang at the gorge I can speak to a few people that will hook you up plus that zip line is crazy my friend lol.
Justin..you are the man...I caught the same crappie and hour apart off the bank in the small river I fish...I think he wanted to be kept..but I threw him back twice..considering I am the sunfish assassin..great luck for the crappie 😆
Man you are on the fish. I appreciate the way you always explain how you are fishing and the depth your fishing. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Man I love these Vids. Found you a little bit ago. Love catfishing myself Am 85 had to sell my trihull. Family afraid I may fall over. Have caught nice here. Fla. Bait slinger. 🐻
You remember what your water temps were? I used to fish them early when I was younger but now I don't even bother until it's over 55ish or so in my normal spot. I've thrown everything imaginable at them over the years but by me they just won't take it until it warms up a little. We've still got ice chunks floating down the river here so I'm watching this to get my fix lol.
your creeks are wayyy bigger than our rivers up here in NW Indiana. lol our creeks arent even 4' deep or 30' wide. I fish the rivers that flow in/out of southern lake michigan and your creeks are just as big as those but much deeper, I havent seen a river over 20' deep ever. lol :) tightlines
Hats off to you being honest! Imagine how many guys will catch a 33" or close (like you did in other video) and just push him hard into the end of the board to try to shorten him up cause im sure it could be done. Again...Great job and thanks for the videos!!!
Great vid Justin. Always like the surprise catch, just to bad we couldn't see just how big that striper was. Oh well. Forward ho on the Kayak Catfishing. Also, good luck on the slot tourney. Just remember this, sometimes you have to sacrifice quality, to get quantity.
I love it when the bite turns on for you! I can hear the happy in your voice and the videos keep coming. Thanks Justin and happy belated birthday. From the couch in Ohio
I always enjoy watching your videos. There is something about you catching fish (even when I cannot) that is exciting for me. Keep up the awesome content. I would love to see you back in Florida catching giants.
@@KayakCatfish CPR is the only way to go. I mean shit there are signs everywhere saying to not eat the fish and I still see jug lingers everywhere. Some peoples kids.
Good video would of liked to see the stripper but that's fishing keep those video's coming hope to see ya place well in this tournament good luck justin
Heya John! He's using baitcasters without levelwind. His thumb guides the line back on. Difficult to get the hang of, but works better (easier) with mono than braid.
Hey Justin hope you been doing good!! im trying to figure out when i check the TVA app for the gen's that are open and the amount of output from the lake what is to much for a yack?? I was out in a spot about 2hrs from dam and it was pushing 114,000 and i was moving at like 2.8 it was just to fast to do anything been thinking about making a trip to watts bar or Fort, what is your ideal output? Thank you for all your help
Ideal output varies greatly depending on how far away you are fishing from the dam. If you stick to the middle to lower ends of Fort Loudoun and Watts Bar, the current will be manageable regardless of output.
What ramp do you use when putting in? I live in the Tri-cities and I’m wanting to come do some fishing down there and was wondering where a good place was? Love the videos keep it up.
Great video Justin nice to see that your catching some nice fish I haven't really been able to go fishing lately because I'm in a boot because of an injury but I'm going fishing tonight wish me some luck but great video as always
Outthunk yourself on that anchor and cast. Fisherman are an odd lot for sure. Catching good fish and decide to change the whole deal. Been er dunn that. I will say that I catch strippers suspended using large frozen shrimp for bait. Strippers rarely hit cut bluegill as often as large shrimp.
According to Dave, Ft. Loudon is pretty well fished out. I see you've kinda given up on it for the time being, also. Want to speculate on it why it's been so sorry lately?
I have just been hitting some different areas for variety. I caught a lot of good fish in Fort Loudoun last year and a friend of mine caught two 60lbers there this week. I don’t think it is in as bad a shape as some people let on.
Thanks again for another video Justin. If you're interested I can hook you up with a free trip to Louisiana where my uncle's are guide's and you can most definitely get a shark and lots of other fish. The hardest pulling fish I caught down there was a bull red fish 57" long. Trevor here enjoying your content.
Sounds good now live in kentucky. But if you ever decide to go (and it's totally up to you Justin). It's a good time not far from venice the red fish capitol. But in all seriousness it's your choice. I'm definitely not trying to bother or pressure ya buddy
Wind on your vid don't really bother me. I just like the fish action. Please keep us posted on your tourney progress, Justin? Happy Friday everyone & Happy Fishing!! 🙂🎣
@@KayakCatfish thanks for the reply, brother! And ahhhh, okay! Its just that there was a Chevy Tahoe outside my workplace with a Kentucky license plate that said "KAYKCTFSH". Never caught where you were from in one of your videos, so I was thinking it may have been you! Tight lines, man
The day was amazing yesterday. I caught only channel cats but caught my pb! Which is about 22 inches long and 6 pounds. Let’s hope you can catch a new pb this year, except it’s gonna be huge since you fishing for blues and flatheads
Congrats on the perfect catfish Justin . Next month you’ll catch lots of them that size this month 32 1/4” . At least that’s they it seems to happen. Good luck in the tournament.

I had a similar day on Taylorville lake last year minus the wind. Droves of shad and birds in a feeder creek. Couldn't buy a bite all day.

I just back my trailer in and launch the kayak like a boat. Saves time and my back.
Congratulations on that slot blue...
Finally getting some nice payback for the tough winter fishing you endured. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Fixing to head out the door fishing and see you dropped a video.. Guess the fish can wait.

Curious I watched another video of yours, do you consider skipjack the better of most. What about shad.
Skipjack is the best bait here where I live. Every body of water is different though
Nice thanks for sharing have a blessed day in the name of Jesus

How often do you change your line out?
Every 3-4 months

Are the skipjack fresh bait or frozen. I don't have access anywhere close to buy them, just wondering if frozen jack are just as good as fresh
Fresh is always best but I have caught a lot of big fish on frozen skipjack through the years
