Lovely bass there at the end. Blue Rock has become my local for kayak fishing. Rookie question for you. I've found a few schools of bass around the weed beds in 3-4m deep. I catch a lot in the 20-25cm range. Are the bigger ones there in those schools? Thoughts on bringing them on the bite?
honestly mate i don’t have that much knowledge on bass, they definitely do hang around in schools, normally the smaller ones out of the school eat lures first so my guess is to just keep casting, also try around the snags and deep rocky banks 👍🏽
Thanks mate. Thought maybe going up a lure size. They seem to dig the double clutch in 60mm. I'll try a 75mm see if that tempts the bastards. I also see a lot of big fish jumping so they are about.
Sorry bloke my bad,that should have been obvious . The best I’ve done there is a scrappy little rainbow that must have jumped about 10 times,the only joy it was on a fly I tied myself. This year Ime going to try harder.
