    Subed, Liked and linked.
    Short intro 10/10 + staying on the subject 10/10 + good audio 10/10 + relevant and real 10/10 + relax pace yet fast enough ( hit the pause people when you need it ) 10/10 + links to stuff used 10/10 + comedy relief 10/10
    This is the textbook example for good UA-cam video

      Army Barbie you're not qualified to use the Internet.

      It was a simple question cause I never heard of them. But ok Tf

    • @GFFmatt
      @GFFmatt 7 років тому +1

      Army Barbie did you watch the video? Because that's what it's about. Plus there are links in the description. PLUS, rather than asking the question (where the answer is obvious), you could Google it and have your answer immediately. It's just stunning to me that none of that occurred to you.

    • @kwolfgangp
      @kwolfgangp 7 років тому +5

      GFFmatt try being nice in life! no likes a A Hole, just answer the question, it would take no longer than it took you to right your trolling comment to Army Barbie. Yes it was in the video but why be a douche?

    Is there any motion tracers that are free???

    • @tubekrake

      DaVinci Resolve Video Editing Software has a Motion Tracker in it's free Version.

    • @EthicalAthletes
      @EthicalAthletes 7 років тому

      You could also use Blender for some motion tracking. Blender can also do many other things like 3D modeling and animating. 👌🏻

    • @PerfectingMe
      @PerfectingMe 7 років тому

      I've got the same question, I record review videos for disc golf, and want to add tracers to the disc while it's in flight so we can see a line of the flight path. I'm not sure if that's referred to as tracers or what it's called, but if you know please share with me :) Thank you!

    • @Studio51media
      @Studio51media 6 років тому +1

      Harv, I sub’d and I went and got the white balance plugin (worked great thanks) “Pixel Film Studio’s” has a motion tracker. It’s new but you HAVE to be running FCPX 10.4 (I think? That the newest one?) and “High Sierra”... i’’m reluctant on the OS since it uses a new HD formatting scheme and I’ve heard horror stories (I also make my living with ProTools and I understand the new disc formatting is an issue there too...?

    gave the trial version of slicex a try, and it severely slowed things down for me in FCP. Being a novice, I'm sure there is a simple enough way to fix that I do not know. Even with 16gb ram and a new-ish Macbook Pro model, it still was a snail's pace. Great idea, would love to purchase if I knew how to implement it properly.

    Not sure how Ive only just come across your channel, but I'm already finding it helpful and very well produced. How do you find UA-cam deal with you using your own unique music you've written yourself on UA-cam tutorial videos? Does UA-cam try and monitise it by saying its someone elses work?

  • @Podcastage

    Just started editing videos for this channel and I think that mLUT would help, but at the same time the videos look pretty good as is and I wonder if it can get "fake" looking with those. I know you can be subtle, but is it better just to leave the video alone if you're going for a naturalistic look? Thanks for the great video btw.

    Hey Harv! Thanks for such awesome content. I learn a ton from you. Quick question: when color grading with Luts in FcpX (I just bought Jame's Miller's pack), do you apply the LUT directly to your sLog footage as the first step and THEN do some exposure/color tweaks after, or do you minor adjustments first and then apply the LUT?

    Do you know of any plugins that would be good for overlaying a list on a video? For example, if I'm doing a fitness video, I might want to show the name of the exercise, the number of reps, how long we've currently been working out, how long we have left etc. I'm a complete noob to Final Cut Pro X.
