This is how RDR2 was meant to be played. I can get pretty close to this with free-aim on controller, Xbox One, but you're definitely faster and smoother. Looks like the mod changes how the camera switches when the gun is drawn, which is nice.
I kinda don't agree with "meant to be played" there's so much possible way to play this game, whatever playstyle makes you happy just keep doing it

He uses Keyboard and mouse, can do much faster and smoother than controller users.
Traveling on horseback in the city being followed from behind: Don't stop but keep moving forward while looking directly back at your enemy. He doesn't know you are lining up your shot. As soon as he draws his weapon, pull your rifle and shoot(you should be able to sight a head shot before drawing) surprise the hell out of him and it will look sweet from his point of view as well. My favorite. No mod needed.

Yesterday I died to this exact encounter at 1:10, because for some reasons my controls are getting fucked up and I couldn't either draw or fire weapon fast enough and Arthur simply refused to move his ass (PC version). any ideas how to solve that issue?

Why is rdr2 is lagging behind gta 5 in terms of mods. GTA 5 already had a lot of mods after 4 years but rdr2 modding community is not making the same progress. It has a lot of potential.

notes:1899 firearms isnt really compatable with a lot of mods so i doubt its that one but its a good one, and id recommend reading the descriptions to see what they change as there are some things you may not like such as slower reload time etc. if you have questions about some of these mods i might be able to help

It's harder probably because of the sensibility and the fact that you need to use left and right joysticks, on pc you only need a mouse wich is faster and easier to control imo.
@@Mardonosky He's also using a weapons mod which makes him accurate, so there's no waiting period between shots after he cocks the revolver, the point is it's easier, though he's still a hell of a shot, wouldn't want to go against him in a online game..

You aren’t just shit. RDR2s combat and controls are shit. The insane delay after pressing r2 to shoot makes it near unplayable. The terrible aim acceleration, bloom, gun sway, and having to clean your gun with a cloth which makes it clean for some reason all add up towards this shitty, unbalanced, lazy, sluggish, pile of crap.

A combination of mods and skill. The mods lock the camera so when you line up the sight it’ll go exactly where you aim with no sway but removes slow time , I also think it makes the player draw faster but that might be just skill too . The real skill comes in where you’ll have to now quickly go from target to target without the slow time effect of vanilla dead eye but as long as you aim at a person you’ll never miss anyway
