Been playing over a year now. This is my go-to racket at the moment. I like the softer feel of it over the Pure Aero line of rackets. But I still use my Pure Aero VS and 98 as backups.
The Spin grommets are nothing new on the Extreme line. They introduced them about 10 years ago. They give the strings a bit more room to move and I guess also expand the sweet spot marginally.
It's kind of a lighter frame so I wonder how often this coming up as a question has to do with that specifically. Still getting to know it! I'll report these kinds of questions in a video. At the moment no strong feelings but it is notably less powerful than a lot of other 98's.
It's my own, actually. I have a brand I'm working on haha thanks for noticing. It can be found at iznt.co on Instagram. Say hi if you check out the page there! Website and stuff coming soon ;)
How's that sound? Way low? What would you do. I'm going based on string spacing and it being a little lower powered. Hard to know where to start the first time.
@time410s well, every frame has a recommended tension range, typically from around 52 to 60+ Lbs ... Depending on your game (swing speed and game style), go for an intermediate tension recommended for that frame. Let us know how what you do and how it works out.
I think this one starts at suggested 48. Suggestions are kind of silly to some degree since they don't factor in gauge or string material at all but...I think this will be close to a good tension. I'll know very very soon
@@alihamzaprojects9569most frames recommend the 50-60 range, sometimes starts at 48, sometimes ends at 57-58, but that recommendation takes into account all kinds of strings, or most likely, the most typical and basic strings used by amateur players, I'd say (nylon and syngut). If you're an advanced player, you already know which tension works with you and with the strings you usually use, and with which frames. Polys are very often strung well below 50, close to 40 and lower (Mannarino uses ~25 iirc but that's kind of extreme). There's no reason why you shouldn't use a tension below recommended range, if that's what works for you. You could even go higher without the frame breaking, Sampras famously strung his natgut at 70 lbs, although that I would definitely not recommend 😅

I like them. Have they always been this oval shape?
do you find the extreme tour to be stable against heavy balls and how precise it is?

Sure let me know
What is that dampener?

Plus I generally find zero to be best strung a little lower than a poly you're used to. Like 2-4lbs. Because it holds so well and pulls so easily
