Nice job to have crossed off the board! Great job putting this together, but I must admit, I was really hoping to see you in a Stovepipe Hat! Bless’ns on your new venture, Tedd
Amazing how much crud came out with you burning seasoned wood. Those cleaning kits do a fantastic job also. Seen several of those used here on UA-cam. Adam at Hometown Acres was the first person I saw using one.
We almost bought a moreso stove for our house in pittsburgh. They were one of the few that made small stoves that would have fit in our fireplace in that house
Space is at a premium here, so the small stove is perfect. I wish we could have had it more centralized in the house, but the original chimney is long gone.
Just a thought… would it be easier to attach all the extension rods feeding it up till the top, then sweep coming down and take away one rod each time. Basically just opposite or reverse of how you did it. I’m not sure there would be an advantage, but it just seemed like it would be worth a try to see if it was easier. Great first video and welcome aboard!!!
I cleaned my stove pipe from the bottom to the top at my old house. The previous owner had installed the pipe so you could not access it from the top. I always did it after the last fire of the season and before the first fire I would run it up and down once. Just in case I had a bird's nest.
Nice video. That is an interesting flue brush.
Thank you! It is an interesting piece but it seems to do the job quite well.

Haha maybe next time I’ll get the hat 😂 Feels good to know it’s clean. It was nice meeting you last weekend, thanks for watching!

I thought mine was a lot, until I joined the “log burner chat” group on Facebook. It’s crazy.
Great video Bob! I just subscribed!
Thank you Jason!

It’s a good thought but the rods I’m not sure are flexible enough. They are pretty thick.
Thank you for the compliment and for watching!

@@BacktoBob1 He's referring when you clean from outside.
@@snake21ab Fair point… I could try that method too. I worry about putting too much side pressure or bend in these rods though they are pretty stout.
Great video Bob. I just happened to stumble upon your channel and you seem to be very comfortable in front of the camera. I subscribed.
Thank you sir! 😎
