I visited from South-Africa last September. Was my first time there and despite what people feel, see or believe around the place. I just fell in love with the place for what it is. I spent 6 months and finished a scale model of St.Michaels tower and tor. Tried to capture my experience. Thanks for sharing the videos of Glastonbury and surroundings. I enjoy watching them..
What a fine video. You, Glastonbury Tor & a Sunny day! Its nice to see the other views too.. When u were on th egg sstone; i saw th sand & thought 'Rabbits!'.. I admire all the Corvus family, but cant bear seeing them raid other birds nests &'bunny carnage'! Is that th hawthorn tree covered in ribbons-i presume tis! Crows turning up were no surprise! :) Today I had my usual Jackdaw5 on my tree, then 4 pretty magpies landed! The 2 young ones were jumping on top of eachother, knocking themselves out of my willow tree! Love them, they turn up wherever i go :-) . Thanks Laura! I cant put it off much longer, i must make a pilgrimage there this year.. Hoping to hire a VW camper van! Blessings, :-) x
I'm Canadian and will be vacationing in Wells in June. I plan on visiting Glastonbury while I'm there and would love to see the Tor! It's on my list!

Glastonbury oh how you seem so near yet so far. Every year for the past 10 I've said "maybe next year" and it hasn't happened.
This year I vow to visit the Tor!!

Wow, i could just feel the energy burst from the screen, to bad i'm in the Netherlands ( we do have beautiful places here but the Tor really has a kind of magic that is hard to find)

Could you talk a bit more on Glastonbury and the Morrighan? You mentioned it briefly but I've always heard of "the lady of Avalon" not so much Morrighan. She's my Matron goddess and I hope one day to go here to honor her
Two years ago I phoned five bed and breakfast places to see if they had any vacancies, all of them burst out laughing when they heard my yorkshire accent ( im from Barnsley ) none of them had vacancies. My wife phoned up thirty minutes later ( she hasn't got a accent ) and guess what, they all had vacancies. So it looks like I will be camping when I do finally get down there.

Hi Laura, your vids are valuable, my request is simple technisch, there are 'windscreens', wich you can put over your microphone, the fit (stretch) around this tool, they do not have to be expensive, in Holland 3,5 euro for five of them. A good music shop will have them. They take away a lot of the sound of the wind so we can hear what you're saying better. Thank you: Valal

In the area where I leave there's a pagan rock in our local graveyard
how far down from the top is the egg stone Laura? is it easier to look for it from the bottom and climb up?
