A wonderful Commentary showing why You are a Pro! Humility is essential to have real cred and consistent respect in this Endeavor. I sure wish others would have your perspective of turn losses to lessons. Unfortunately, instead we hear unnecessary excuses and no humility. ANY expert at this game knows they are going to be wrong a lot. The ones expecting to be right every time, they are just not Professional and honestly wasting our time. Time to Pay Attention. Thanks again for a perfect presentation of knowledge and humility.

I hope everyone in this group has great luck this summer, wins enough to go see the Breeders Cup and meet some of the Past the Wire team… friends and family feign interest, which is nice, but watching a card with others who’ve followed the horses all year is definitely on the bucket list!

Randomized is another horse who won at Saratoga last year. She was the only major thing I got right this weekend…and then I lost her in a stone-cold double with Prince of Monaco. I wanted to be sick, lowest point of a dark weekend, but we keep moving forward. We've got receipts to say we're coming back with a vengeance. - Brian

Hindsight is 20/20 but thinking back on how Dornoch fought back down the stretch in the Remson…he’s a fighter. Had some bad trips after it seems. Everyone I respect in this game had Sierra Leone….including the PTW crew, Andrew Beyer and so forth. You about to get hot Jon, I can feel it

I lost the Derby and The Preakness but I finally hit the Belmont. Had the double and the exacta. I should’ve played the tri but I didn’t want to get my ass kicked to badly again. Well, don’t you know I should have played it. Haha
    Thanks for another great video!
    Cheers☘️

Everybody tends to fall in love with their selections and become blind too their faults, keep the Patterns and Numbers coming!!! If this weak crop of 3yr old's races for the rest of the year they will take turns beating each other depending on who is Fit and Ready on that particular day. Did you happen too notice that when Seize The Grey broke his Maiden Dornoch was second by one and three quarter lengths?

Horse 2 bet back is crupi anywhere they enter him . That's where c.brown talked about the track and hores hanging around on the speed favoring track. Crupi still won. Bet c.browns randomized next race doubled up cause of the speed track.

It was a speed-favoring Saratoga track on Belmont Stakes Day as Chad Brown was quick to point out as an excuse. If his horse doesn't get bumped hard at the break, he wins the race IMO. Sierra Leone is a highly competitive race horse (on his own) and really good. It's rare that a really good horse gets taken away from a really good trainer. Different jockey? Different bit? How about a different trainer? Asmussen won everywhere, including Saratoga, with Sierra Leone's sire.

I didn't like Book’em Danno either. Book’em Danno is super tactical. He wins his races by getting first jump on his opponents. They either get 'um late or he hangs on.

Speaking of takeaways, I'm curious about Sierra Leone's switch to the Haughton bit. Did it have any effect on his performance in the Belmont?
