I used DMC 25 Embroidery cotton floss(It's from France). Thread scissor, embroidery needles, embroidery hoop, fabric of your choice(linen, cotton, etc..), embroidery floss. Usually you need this kind of material. But if you have thread, needles and fabrics, you can start embroidering, so do not be too hard and start with simple stitches.

When I tried to do this flower for the first time, I did it too lose and it was horrible, but then I tried it a couple of more times and the third one was perfect.
