I never thought of attaching the finished piece to canvas. What a great way to display it! I love the colors used in this; beautiful piece! Thanks for sharing!
Such a fantastic "Camelia flowers" embroidery pattern for beginners! Your tutorial is a great resource for those looking to create a beautiful floral wall hanging. The step-by-step guidance makes it accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for sharing your expertise and inspiring us to try our hand at embroidery. Keep up the wonderful work! 🌺🧵🌼
Tomorrow I'm starting a very important project. I haven't done this for 45 yrs and I needed a refresher. Your video is exactly what I was looking for. I saw a beautiful flowery graphic with a home blessing in the middle that i knew i had to do. I did the iron on transfer & I'm ready to go. Your video was the perfect refresher and there was no talking which I loved. Everything in your video covered my picture. Ill need a reminder about the words but ill look that up at the end. Again ty for this video. Your pic was beautiful. Blessings to you😍
Thank you for the inspiration! I am new to hand embroidery (I did cross stitching a very long time ago), but I don’t love the look of hanging embroidery hoops on the wall. The canvas is brilliant! ❤

I really love how you fitted the piece on a canvas. It looks beautiful.
Yes I just spoke to my twin sister about how calming and beautiful your videos are to watch, let alone teaching Ty sooo much Ps I’ll be sharing them to my twin ♥️👍🙏
Just started my first kit. They instruct you to use 4 strands which requires separating of the floss. I noticed you don't do that. Is that a personal preference or a technique? Any suggestions or recommendations?
Hello! It's absolutely fine to separate the floss and Diana often does it too. She often uses 2, 3, 4 strands in her smaller works. It depends on the size of the particular element and desired result. Thick thread may give more volume, but may be too large for tiny details. In our patterns we always provide a PDF guide with the instructions how many strands are used for every element. Usually Diana uses 1-2 strands for tiny elements, 3 or 4 for medium sized ones, and 6 or 12 strands for large elements (flowers, big leaves etc.). For example, in this video "Camelia flowers" Diana used 3 strands to embroider the stems. If you are embroidering according to the guide of some other designer, most likely you should follow the instructions given there, otherwise the result may differ from what is stated. Kind regards, Natalia (assistant)
@@dianavingert9227 :) yes indeed!! I actually got out a white handkerchief and am planning on stitching just a single flower like how you have shown .. a very audacious attempt on my part I must say but your video just got me hooked I wish I had seen this when I was in school then I would have paid more attention to my needlework classes :(
This is absolutely stunning! When you create your pattern, do you already know what stitches you are going to use and you freestyle it, or do you mark it on your pattern and use it as a guide?
Hello! I'm Natalia, Diana's assistant. Thank you for your comment! When Diana creates a new pattern, sometimes she changes it several times, trying different stitches and threads. In the video you see the final result, but this is preceded by trial and error :) Diana uses mostly simple basic stitches, and each of them works well for certain elements, e.g. Stem stitch is good for stems, Satin stitch is good for large leaves and petals and so on. But there is always room for experiments :) Thank you for your interest and support. Kind regards, Natalia
You should have a look at how painters stretch a canvas, its a lot easier and you will get a cleaner result. Especially with the corner folds. Nice work BTW.
Thank you for this video and your other work, first time viewer but instant subscriber! I was wondering about the importance of the felt that you glued onto the canvas - is it to resuce wrinkles? Many thanks and appreciation from Norway!
Hi, thank you! Yes, the felt makes the base softer, the corners of the canvas become less sharp, and the embroidery lays better on the surface. But this is not necessary, you can do without this stage.
Hello, thank you. If the threads are of light color, it may leave some strains (and on fabric as well). We recommend heat erasable pens (like Pilot Frixion Pen)
Hi! Diana uses different needles for different parts of embroidery, depending on the amount of strands used. You can get a set of embroidery needles, there are usually various sizes in it. For 6 or 12 strands it is DMC embroidery needle number 3 or equal. As for the hear removable pen, you can search for Pilot Frixion Pen on Amazon or any other online stores. Kind regards, Natalia (assistant)
Hi, I hope you answer my question. What kind of carbon sheets did you use? Does it leave some blackness on the fabric? If not, can you please share the link of it ?
Hi! Unfortunately, we don't have a link, because it was purchased locally offline. If your carbon paper has such problem of staining the fabric, try another brand. Usually any regular carbon paper must be fine, but maybe some papers are of a bad quality. There is also carbon paper of different colors, you can try a blue one or purple, instead of black.
Hello! Diana used carbon paper to transfer the pattern, and then a heat erasable pen to outline some lines. It was Pilot Frixion Pen. :) Kind regards, Natalia (assistant)
Hello! This stand is hand made by Diana and her husband, unfortunately it's one of a kind. But maybe such stands will be for sale in the future :) Kind regards, Natalia (assistant)
Hello Diana, the pdf pattern 20*20 mentioned on your etsy shop is it suitable for a cushion cover of 40*40 or 45*45? , if negatif what do you suggest of your pdf pattern for a cushion cover? I'm a beginner, I appreciate your reply🌷 Thank you
Hello, I am Natalia, Diana's assistant. The size of this pattern is 20*20, so if you want to cover your 40*40 cushion case entirely, it won't be enough. You can enlarge the pattern if you want, but then you will have to change the number of strands of floss you use. We have an old pattern for a 40*40 pillow case, you can see it here: vingert.store/Gray-pillow-case-pdf-pattern-video-tutorial-DIY-p179931282 Also, our customers often use our large floral wreaths to decorate the cushions, you can find such patterns here: vingert.store/PDF-patterns-10-inch-floral-wreath-c58334148 Hope it helps :) If there is anything else I can do for you, please send us an email to vingert.store@gmail.com Kind regards, Natalia (assistant)
@dianavingert9227 hello Natalia, thank you for your explanation, I will choose some pattern from etsy shop or Diana's website, i think 26 cm is enough for a cushion cover of 40*40 since I'm not cover it entirely. We remain, kind regards from Beirut, Lebanon 🌷
I never thought of attaching the finished piece to canvas. What a great way to display it! I love the colors used in this; beautiful piece! Thanks for sharing!

Not only gorgeous art but more relaxing to watch than any ASMR!

Hi, sorry, can't provide the link since the fabric was purchased locally. You can try to search linen fabric (200g/m2) in the shops available to you.

Sorry, we don't have a link for it because it is handmade. You can search for table hoop holders online.
