William Babcock ogically if they make more never before seen episodes and upload them then there seen so there not never before seen episodes that you can watch .
It’s so weird seeing that Tom has always been behind the scenes and now he’s in the spotlight, it feels like he’s a time traveller inserting himself into the past
The Yogsquests were some of my favorite series they've done and as someone who watched from 2010 it seemed a whole lot more advanced and shiny than the things they did before. It's really surprising to see how shoddy the production values actually were.
Ah, man. This is giving me the feels. Turps' subtle joke about hitting the big numbers 4 years ago and them commenting on how much younger they are. It's sad. An age passed. Reminds me of when I was younger too, watching the Yogscast as it was still developing (granted Yogsquest 2 was quite a while later). I dunno. It just sort of jolts you, seeing that these people whom you've "known" for so long have grown and aged as well. The Yogs are still going strong, but nothing lasts forever. Just like watching those magical Minecraft videos when you were 15 didn't. Can't step into the same river twice
Jaxon Roller I agree but I'm very happy in the fact that I'm literally growing up with the yogscast because their content as it was around 4 years ago would not appeal to me today, I really enjoy their more mature humour especially in live streams
Agent Dash Same thing here. It's honestly shaped my life watching them over the past 6-7 years and I'm happy I can now more fully appreciate their adult humor and series
I've seen them grow and honestly, I think they've always been incredibly good and somehow, they've just gotten better and better over the years. They also "look better" as Turps pointed out, like even Sips who had already cemented his style looks better now, and I can't really explain why it is. Something about them has always shined, and over the years instead of declining and eventually fading out, it's done the exact opposite. And it's really wonderful and fulfilling to be along for the ride.
Balthor honestly I think the biggest difference is that back then they were trying new things and making the content they're known for, now they're just trying to keep that or hop on the popular thing instead of being the innovators
I don't know if that's true, actually. They've expanded a lot and tried a lot of the new things in recent years. The main channel itself may seem more stagnant, but now Tom has a channel, they've done two different series in the Civ channel of Ben and Lewis playing old 4X games, they've uploaded 14 episodes of Colony Survival, which would've been suicidal a couple of years ago because the game is reminiscent of Minecraft... Etcetera. Their old videos on the other hand were often following trends or experimenting out of desire to grow (like the trailer videos, there was a video recently where Lewis mentioned how they started making them to get more views lol), they did experiment quite a bit, but it was often inside their own "confort zones", like YogLabs for instance. They're innovating in different ways now, expanding their content and sometimes doing it just because they enjoy it. They've also started focusing a lot more on streaming, but I wouldn't consider that "innovating". Regardless, I wouldn't say they've ever been the most innovative of channels: they've just done somewhat "trendy" things in interesting or different ways.
That is an excelent video and fully deserves a thumbs up. The YogVlogs, as a whole, are something that, in my opinion, The Yogscast channel had to do a long time ago, but better late than never. The whole setup of them watching the old video was great, the commentary was nice and honest and made me shed some good wholesome laughs. A true blast from the past. Can't wait for the next vlog to come out, because it's honestly great to watch them have fun and break the mold of only being with the same set of people every time they make a video.
Dude, i remember when BlueXephos was such a big channel 4 years ago that AdultSwim even had like a top 5 UA-camr list during there commercials. . . holy shit
That was great, yogsquest 2 is still probably the best series you guys ever did and seeing all this stuff is hilarious. Its amazing to see how much you've all changed over the years, cant believe its been like 3-4 years since I watched this stuff when it fist came out.
Everything about this video including the guys reaction to the video is pure Yogcast gold. Love Yogsquest and I hope they think about doing another one. The call of Chtulu game was brilliant. As always Simon was the shining star as that professor.
Honestly, I think if I had watched this behind the scenes back in the day I wouldn't have cared. I really enjoyed watching your reactions to seeing a video we've never seen before.
Oh my potatoes... I love this so much. The amount of nostalgia is just amazing. I just love to see how people have changed and grown in just 4 years. It's also a little sad 'cause watching Yogscast has been a big part of my life and to see all these great moments is just.. magical. Thank you for everything you guys do, and keep up the wonderful work. Thank you for existing~
4 years ago... Holy fucking shit. How did that happen??? I remember when i was in 2013 saying to myself "jeez 2010 was 3 years ago" like it was yesterday.
Great episode! I love the nostalgia you bring with this reaction. Being with you guys from Ep. 1 of Shadow, to now, has brought back so many memories of the Yogscast, as well as myself. I truly thank you for everything you have done and are still doing! P.S- I still have my white Israphel t-shirt :) All the best, From Sips's Canadian Brother
I must say, as amusing as that video might have been coming out before, watching the reactions to it while you guys watched it back yourselves now made it that much more entertaining. :)
I find myself binge watching the old yogquests and other live action rp stuff you guys have done over the years, these days I settle for the shorter board game / card game videos.
That was fun =D One little journey into the past. Crazy to think that that so much time has passed since then; it doesn't feel like it's been longer then two years.
I've been watching you guys since I was 10 but going through old videos and streams then watching this made me realise how much the yogscast have been a companion of sorts to me throughout the years. It feels weird to say, because it is, but it genuinely does feel like I'm friends with these guys? That feels creepy to say, however I want to ultimately say thank you and that I can only wish for a group of friends as genuine and as funny as these guys.
I absolutely loved this yogsventure. Simon kept pissing me off bc all he wanted to do was clean and i thought he was worth so much more, but he loved cleaning so much i couldnt hate! You guys were great then and youre great now
last month i had a marathon of all the yogsquests, rewatched them for shits & giggles, ive been watching the games night channel going through the d&d stuff youve all done there, ive enjoyed them i have alot of fun watching them, thanks for making me laugh through all that
Omg the nostalgia. This video reminds me of all the reasons why I've kept watching them till this day. I can't believe I've stuck with a youtube channel as long as I have with the Yogscast. #noragrets.
We need more vlogs where 6 men stealthily observe Smith doing mundane day-to-day shit and comment on that.
this please!
yeah that was pretty funny tbh

Now you guys have to react to this video in 4 years.
Two more years!
Chances are VERY unlikely now
@@AR-mp2ib True lol. Such good times, crazy how much has changed in a couple of years.
The result is Lewis has shit hair now
BAD NEWS FROM THE FUTURE!
they should make more never before seen episodes!
William Babcock technically all new episodes are never before seen episodes
William Babcock new yogsquest when?
probably next year or they may save it for christmas
William Babcock ogically if they make more never before seen episodes and upload them then there seen so there not never before seen episodes that you can watch .
Technically new content is also never before seen.
I love how its always Tom's friend or Tom's dad, the man knows a lot of people who collect some weird stuff lmao
Oh gosh! This was a joy to watch! Been here for a very long time and love the Yogscast! So good to see how much they've grown. XD
Ha ha yeah, been watching this since I was 7 and it's hilarious watching them go through all these crazy fazes
Same.
Starwarsrap1 yeah didn't even remember that they used to look like that.
Same, and I couldn't agree more
It’s so weird seeing that Tom has always been behind the scenes and now he’s in the spotlight, it feels like he’s a time traveller inserting himself into the past
Now what we all need, is new a YogsQuest.
*cough cough* Look at Game Night Channel *cough cough*
needoriginalname I am aware of that channel, but it dosen't have the same vibe.
I agree completely I remember the yogsquest being something I looked forward to and was amazing and I actually remember watching them all
bump this shiet!
Lewis and Ben said that it was in the makings in one of their "Lewis and Ben save the world" streams.
They ALL look better now.
Maddor I dunno. LewLew looks painfully thin these days :/
Maddor Glo up as they say
Yeah and tom isn't a knock off Nerdcubed anymore.
OH. MY. GOD. HE DID LOOK JUST LIKE NERDCUBED TOO
Ross standing there awkwardly for most of the video
Feels bad man
He's outside his comfort zone bless him, i doubt he'd be there at all if Turps wasn't there as he's closer to the Hat Films boys than the others.
Azerock Gaming Uhh, that's not really true at all.
Azerock Gaming How would you even know that lol ? He probably just had nothing to input TBH
Probably thinking of some dirty hat films joke then remembering he is not on hat films and cannot make filthy jokes.
The Yogsquests were some of my favorite series they've done and as someone who watched from 2010 it seemed a whole lot more advanced and shiny than the things they did before. It's really surprising to see how shoddy the production values actually were.
They should watch Lewis' Garbage Truck Sim breakdown
oh yes thay need to see him cry
izaak buckley link?

My cheeks hurt from smiling too much, those were good times. Loved watching Yogsquest.
Tom's *non-bearded* face
Blasphemy
It cannot be unseen...
Cheeky X Videos logo.
TobakshiX he used to just film, he was Hat Films cameraman. Now he's a dude.
Looks like an extra from a Reel Big Fish music video! It's fantastic.

This is what I love the most about the yogscast, the impromptu humor and funny cringe moments that anyone can laugh at! ;)
The new editing for these videos with the joking musical intrusions and the pop-up pictures make the content really enjoyable. Good job, editors!
When Turps is singing, he reminds me of Michael McIntyre 😂 with the movements and hair

Sips looks like an ex-con in that jacket... 2:49
hey leave xcom to ben and lewis

I die every time it goes to old Lewis. He looks 15
YogsQuest 2 was my favorite so far and this stuff was well worth waiting to see. You guys are better than you give yourselves credit for.
God! To think this was that long ago!!😱can't wait to meet you guys at i64!
Holy shit. Young Tom looks like he's from the 70's. And, Lewis looks like he was 16. I can't!! I love this so much.

How did that happen???
I remember when i was in 2013 saying to myself "jeez 2010 was 3 years ago" like it was yesterday.
I really hope these YogVlogs will be a regular thing. So nice to follow what you guys are doing in the new office :D
"This video was too bad to go out 4 years ago"
films Smithy making a coffee XD
I love it where they stop what they are doing and just reminisce about the past. They are well aware of how they got here.
Ross looks like the guy who's left out of the inside joke throughout this whole video.

Tom made the transformation from baggy jeans 4 years ago to not buttoning his shirt now
Came home after a long day and this was just what I needed. Absolutely brilliant!
so did Simon just dream the whole thing!?!? :O
took the words out my mouth
Inever thought lewis looked bad, but whenever I see an old video I think he did :D
yogsquest 2 was the best yogsquest
Really enjoyed this vid guys! These vlogs are actually quite entertaining. I've Been watching you for years now and I'm here to stay!
Lewis 1.0 looks like he just going through puberty lol
I must say, as amusing as that video might have been coming out before, watching the reactions to it while you guys watched it back yourselves now made it that much more entertaining. :)
6 years later and this video of them reacting to that is even sadder having lost Turps and Sjin

There should be a law that Tom must never be clean shaven
Dr John Zoidberg should be a law that if you see Tom in the street you have to drop kick him
@@Joseph-uo3mx No you have to give him some of your own beard as sacrifice.
This is exactly what I needed for a kinda sad and lonely night. This was absolutely fantastic, had a great laugh!
I love you guys ❤
I love Yogsquests so much xD 2 and 3 were my favourite
Clodagh McGarry but orc sips!
and the rat
I re-watched 1 & 3 this week so this was really weird timing for me.
1 & 2 are definitely the best.
I'm kinda glad this came out now, the nostalgia of this moment warmed my heart.
I DEMAND A NEW YOGSQUEST
All that star wars DnD is yogsquest
They're up to Yogsquest 5 or 6 now
And the call of Cathulu games
they're all on the Games Night channel... and there's 7 of them btw
These yog vlogs were fun, I wish they had stuck with them for a while longer.
In a few years they'll be reacting to this reaction
By 2020 their entire channel will run on reaction videos to reaction videos. Each time they run out, they just react to those reactions again. :)
i love these behind the scenes videos being posted lately. there so entertaining to watch
yay old videos
I like the red dwarf level of quality!
I remember watching yogsquest 2 as the videos came out. Can't believe how time has flown
Holy shit it's been nearly 4 years already?!
This was bloody funny, I hope you have more behind the scenes like this with a bunch of you watching back on it!
oh my God I miss the yogs quest so much
I LOVE THIS STUFF it makes me so warm inside... also.. Lewis is so fit now it hurts my soul
14:23 "Do teenage girls watch the Yogscast?" - Ross, 2017
Unfortunately for Turps' future career prospects, yes, they do.
Ross no clue what's happening. The brief teleport wave he did at the end at the end was the funniest bit.
This is youtube Gold!
I have fallen down a rabbit hole of Yogscast videos and I couldn’t be happier about it 😂
Tom looked a bit like Jeff Kaplan
Omg you are so right XD
Hello everyone this is Jeff from the overwatch team
Old comment, but he was definitely a nerdcubed look-alike.
One thing hasn't changed over the years.... Simon's laugh is still contagious.

Wow, it's been 4 years already?
That was a joy to see some of the stuff behind yogsquest 2. I would really like another but i'm content with what we have now.
18 minutes of Turps saying "Look at me!!!" :p
Pretty much sums up his yogscast career
Watching Simon say "Woke up at half past 9 in the morning" while watching at said time, half past nineception!

games night channel
I think they've filmed it
DrifT Nitro That's not Yogsquest it's just D&D
No at the end of the Star Wars DND they started calling it YogsQuest
Their Games Night Channel has DnD content like Yogscast and it is called that, but they don't wear the costumes or have the little skits.
