If you think about it. If only they had let O-Gong fight the dragon like he originally planned. No one would've died. Samjang died not because of the dragon, but because she was stabbed by a human. All they needed was her blood, if O-Gong was there, she wouldn't be stabbed and he would still fight the Dragon and win.

Their superb acting skills make up with the open ending, (the storyline was really good, I like how they developed the characters but due to time constraints.. the last part was was a bit of a rush and hanging.. I hope they could make it up for another season) I have no qualms about the CGI dragon and whatnot. i hope they'll get lots of awards.. they do have beautiful OSTs and brilliant acting. Good job, Huwayugi team! 'twas a fun ride indeed..
OG trying to break out, but he can’t, the gods are too strong. BR tells OG that this is SJ’s will. She asks BR to trap OG there. She ordered the godland to trap BR there. Then we see SJ picking up the sword. The candidate approaches her, but she turns the wrod on him. She asid that she can stop the dragon by trapping it in her body and then remove it. The candidate won’t get anything. But then the candidate and SJ struggle and we see the candidate stabbing SJ with the sword. It goes all the way through her body. Sj bleeds from her mouth and the blood falls into the water. The dragon is on the move in the water and blood is splattered all over the candidate. He drops the sword in shock and SJ looks at him. She tells him that he started his own destruction. Then we hear a roar. The candidate looks around and we see the dragon shooting out of the water, it is in the air and approaching them. The candidate look up at it and looks at the black dragon in shock, he tries to run away, but the dragon shoots toward him. SJ is trying to stand, she wants to trap the dragon. OG uses all his anger and throws all the gods with all of his power and then dissapears. The dragon is swirling in the sky and looking at SJ, she bravely looks at the dragon as it roars right in front of her. The dragon is right in front of SJ and is roaring, but SJ just looks at it and stays there. But then OG runs up and picks up the knife. He points it at the dragon in determination and holds his ground in front of it. SJ passes out behind him and something shoots from the dragon. SJ hits the dragon and it rockets back and starts to dissapear. OG is bleeding and can’t stand. But he is able to stand and run to SJ’s side. She is unconcious. He cradles her in his arms and they both dissapear. Meanwhie, BR is wondering how OG broke their god shield. MW shows up, BR wants to know if MW helped him and MW says that he just gave OG a little more power. Skyland wanted to see SJ’s result and MW wanted to see OG’s choice. But BR says that the dragon didn’t dissapear, it is still here. ASY tells WG that the dragon will still be released to the world and looks up at the darkened sky. Then we see the dragon still in a state of half alive in the air. WG goes to the gate and freezes it so the dragon cannot come in.

TVN/SM If i were to make an ending on this: Sam Jang will be brought back to life, she'll be reincarnated coz of hee exceptional sacrifice as a reward and as a recognition for oh-gong's effort to kill the dragon and for him to uplift his punishment. Then ofcourse a hugging and kissing scene, and same for Ma Wang and Bu Ja, Queen mother will be reincarnated and be with their son and even tho Ma Wang can't be with them it's enough for them to meet without knowing who Ma Wang is that Ma Wang can get close to them without making the heavens angry just like how it ends for him and his son. And for Bu Ja, the evil priestess has softened more her heart and turned to a mix of Bu Ja's consciousness and hers and be with PK coz Bu Ja can't be ressurected so the only possible way that would give a connection somehow to her character is to make that priestess own her body for good so she'll not rot and that ofcourse counts her as one of them (pk,ohgong,sec ma and ma wang) i was actually xpecting it coz we already saw the charac.dev of that priestess she's becoming good coz of PK. And then pk and the original owner of the octopus girls body will do a loveteam. So basically the picture of the ending should be they'll gather together in Ma Wang's home, the scene will be on the dining table and they're happily eating and discussing sam jang and ohgongs marriage with ceo hyungnim. Or else the ending would be sam jang and oh-gong's marriage in sureumdong where the only human guests are sam jang's secretary and his family. Bcoz honestly the ending sucks, this is just one of those goblin and scarletheart's ending. They're damn good romantic-fantasy movies that could have a good ending and closure. But then, I WOULDN'T MIND AT ALL IF YOU'RE COOKING FOR IT'S SEASON 2.. JEBAL!! Please grant this as one of my christmas wish. PLEASE for S2
The bachelor's Lee Seung Ji is my 1st favorite Korean actor he is a good acting i like him...My 2nd fivoite is Yang Seo Jong and my 3rd is Kim Woo Bin and i have more actors in my list but this 3 actors is the most i like.....And this kdrama Odyssey its very like soo much!!!
