This drama was 5 years ago and yet this scene still has me tearing up. So well done by seungi and Yeon-seo. The lack of music for the 1st minute really helped build that emotion, that silence was full of sorrow and dread AND THEN that darn ost came in. From the 1st note of the piano I knew I was a gonna. If there was ever a soul crushing instrumental, its that one. So beautiful but heart breaking at the same time. I still listen to it!

OYS and LSG deserve an Oscar award! Those emotions are so speechleesss! Give them an awards Despite that horrible CGI "dragon" they still manage Bring out the emotion to the viewers that it looks really believable bcos of their acting. LSG & OYS are really a good partner onscreen.
How many of you want season 2 of Hwayugi with same actors & actresses? I do miss them all and this drama too... Hope to have season 2 with happy ending!
This drama was released on 2018 Goblin(2017) was still popular back then and still has after effect on people and its kinda have some similarities in the storyline thats why it was ignored by many people in korea.
OG cradles Sj in his arms and calls her name…Jin Seon-mi…Jin Seon-mi. Then SJ’s eyes open. She tells him that she is sorry and a tear falls. But the sky is dark above her. SJ sees it and tells oG that he shouldn’t be there, he should go. But he says that he doesn’t want to. SJ says that he has to listen to everything she asks him to do and she wants him to go and finish it. She really wanted there love to not dissapear, but she is okay becasue of the GGG, it relieves her. She touches a bloody hand to OG’s face and he starts to cry. She tells him, swhen you are alone, love is not there anymore, so I am happy (because he won’t have the GGG). She dies. OG cries and says her name over and over again…Jin Seon-mi….Jin Seon-mi. He screams and we cut to MW touching his heart. He says that SJ is dead.

I remembered watching the first few episodes a few months back, I thought to myself: " This will again give you heartache. A lonely ending, a bittersweet love story." But knowing this at first hand, didn't stop me from hoping that it will somehow give justice to those tiring days watching a new episode without a subtitle. LOL. But please, don't give me an ending like My GF is a Gumiho and GU Family Book. I don't need it. I want closure so I can move on from this story. Haha

TVN/SM If i were to make an ending on this: Sam Jang will be brought back to life, she'll be reincarnated coz of hee exceptional sacrifice as a reward and as a recognition for oh-gong's effort to kill the dragon and for him to uplift his punishment. Then ofcourse a hugging and kissing scene, and same for Ma Wang and Bu Ja, Queen mother will be reincarnated and be with their son and even tho Ma Wang can't be with them it's enough for them to meet without knowing who Ma Wang is that Ma Wang can get close to them without making the heavens angry just like how it ends for him and his son. And for Bu Ja, the evil priestess has softened more her heart and turned to a mix of Bu Ja's consciousness and hers and be with PK coz Bu Ja can't be ressurected so the only possible way that would give a connection somehow to her character is to make that priestess own her body for good so she'll not rot and that ofcourse counts her as one of them (pk,ohgong,sec ma and ma wang) i was actually xpecting it coz we already saw the charac.dev of that priestess she's becoming good coz of PK. And then pk and the original owner of the octopus girls body will do a loveteam. So basically the picture of the ending should be they'll gather together in Ma Wang's home, the scene will be on the dining table and they're happily eating and discussing sam jang and ohgongs marriage with ceo hyungnim. Or else the ending would be sam jang and oh-gong's marriage in sureumdong where the only human guests are sam jang's secretary and his family. Bcoz honestly the ending sucks, this is just one of those goblin and scarletheart's ending. They're damn good romantic-fantasy movies that could have a good ending and closure. But then, I WOULDN'T MIND AT ALL IF YOU'RE COOKING FOR IT'S SEASON 2.. JEBAL!! Please grant this as one of my christmas wish SM.

Hope it doesn't end simply fixed by a simple reencarnation like Goblin. Up to ep. 19 this Drama is being a roller coaster of emotions (it come more than a Rom Com as a Mello Drama at this final episodes). It's hard to be happy at this point even knowing that from the original story SJ has to die. SJ maybe have died but that doen's means that JSM has to, cause she is not an ordinary human...I believe She is one of MW's sons so She can be an inmortal if the Heavens allowed it to. But still, the Fans, We are waiting for a happy ending tomorow, and please not an abrupt short one!
