Ballinasloe Horse Fair 1998

Ballinasloe International Horse Fair 4 October 1998. Tracy Piggott was involved in the opening ceremony and features a few times, at 00:00:22, 00:02:36, 00:07:18, 00:10:12, 00:12:11 etc. Stanley Clarke, Chairman of the Festival Committee features too. The Connacht Tribune of 9 October 1998 reported that 40,000 people attended the fair on 4 October alone. Video by Richard Murphy.

It was so nice to see Willie Leahy!!! Sadly he ist deceased in 2022.
I used to hunt on his horses with the Galway Blazers.
