I've got both John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme and Cabin Pressure on CD, (all of which I've transfered to my hard drive). They get played an awful lot. :)
So he can write, act, perform stand-up, draw and now I discover he can animate? What will be his next talent that I learn he can do? Tightrope walk? Pope impressions? Yoghurteer?
He also, during lockdown, became only the third person to ever solve the fiendish 90-year-old murder mystery, "Cain's Jawbone". I, on the other hand, wisely rewatched "Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law". I'll leave it to you to decide who spent their time better.
I found this sketch rather mystifying the first time I listened to it, and assumed it was making fun of a commercial for some local British snack until I looked up "shortbread millionaire".
Hey, guys, I'm so exited there are regular updates on the channel! Don't you know where to find scripts or some stuff like that? Not good at listening, actually, although still want to be clued-up:))
@@silverswan8785 Thank you! I've just found it on the LifeJournal)) Thought it would be as impossible as with Cabin Pressure scripts, so desided to ask first:)
@@silverswan8785 Look, on the LifeJournal page I've found they'd posted all the scripts up to 5th series:)) And this sketch is from 8th:)) And nothing else on google again:))) So I'm the winner at life)) However, thx:)
I’d never realised the word ‘enrobed’s rich comic potential before. JF is a genius

Agreed. It started to go off a bit towards the end though. I regularly play ‘Lucy’s Dilemma and it never palls.

That thing you do where you can fold a crisp packet into a tiny triangle?
@@silverswan8785 I don't think even he can do that.
Hmm.... there are plenty of things he hasn't tried. I suppose it's possible he can't do one of those... perhapse

This is excellent!
The car’s number plate is perfect ...
Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't register that at all.
Could anyone explain it, please? I can't figure it out. Thanks!
@@benik234: Sure. The number plate is NR013ED, which can be read as ‘enrobed’.
@@Triviata84 Alright, John; there comes a point where you're just showing off.
Please don't stop.

Daniel Sterman oh, you’ve just solved it for me. 😂
@@jomeyer9892 It's actually called 'Millionaire's shortbread'.
TheDrysfa i’m fairly sure i’ve *eaten* the stuff but was unaware of the name until now!
@@jomeyer9892 I feel like I've heard them referred to as Twix but a bar cookie?
Allison Holley ooh the mystery continues
Shame it is not a yellow car...
That would've resembled a millionaire shortbread too 😂😂
1:04 Yellow Car!
MrWomblefree oooooooh yeeeees I missed that!!
john, would you ever do a livestream of this? like on twitch?

Sure, you can find transcripts on google by typing in John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme Series _ Episode __ Transcript.
