The attention to detail is insane. They are literally the original cabinets shrunken down! Imagine showing these to someone in the mid-late 80s 😂
Those little gems are beautiful! 😍 i love the tiny coins that go into the machine, that is so dang cool!
I had the same idea a few years ago. I have found a few mini curved lenses from some old hand held slide viewers. They look just like a curved CRT. But as usual I have so many projects I never got to it.
That's pretty awesome! And good thinking on that to try it. But I totally understand. Trust me about having too many projects😂
So far, I haven't noticed anything with controllers that weren't working right. I know that the joysticks are 8-way joysticks but I've only been playing it for a little while so I'll come back to you on this one. But so far they've been okay for me.
Great review Glen. I picked up the original Ghosts n Goblins. was partial to the purple cab and old school cab art.
I do like the ghosts and goblins cabinet but have to say the white team molding on the ghouls and ghosts just pops really nicely but in all fairness both games are incredibly difficult and it doesn't really matter lol. Just kidding
Great review Glen! I love how you always go into detail and cover all aspects of the product! Both look so good, now I don’t have to open mine! LOL. I feel your pain about the boxes as I’m an OCD toy collector, but after many years I’m getting better and am starting to let it go. 😅

They will be some available soon. Just keep an eye on new wave toys's website. The new 2.0 screen is really awesome and they look really good even with the scan lines turned on. In fact, that's how I prefer it

But You can use an external USB gamepad and an external monitor so that'll put you right back to just the normal kind of hard lol

This is base on MAME. It should be play with 4-way joystick. It make less error. It really timing on when to go up or down. It also reduce error between walking vs crouching. I don't know if Arcade version is 8 or 4 way joystick.

Just got my Ghosts n Goblins mini. The diagonals break both horizontal and vertical movement in both games, and USB controllers do not fix the problem. I have contacted NWT and I'll see what they say, but this problem is NOT with the roms.
I wonder if they can do a firmware fix for diagonal input I will reach out

Both of these games are pivotal parts of my arcade journey. And it's funny, I probably played both of these more at the 7 Eleven than in the arcade, but MAN are they great! I'm a big Halloween guy, and even though these games are ultra hard, and to this day I still haven't beat either of them, I still enjoy playing them from time to time. Now both of these gems are proudly part of my home arcade!
The only home version I played a bunch of back in the day was Ghouls n' Ghosts on my Sega Genesis (haven't beat that one either). The arcade is really where it's at with these for me.
Berzerk is next for me and Zoltar. My fingers are crossed for a Skeeball (but hopefully they rethink the scoring targets. Remove those 100 point side ones. Those are scam tactic versions used in some venues to make it harder to get tickets. Only 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 for me :)

Video game Vegas I always appreciate when you stop by. It was a great comments. And yeah I never played them in the arcade. Only played them at home, but I agree they are hard games. But I'm also very much a Halloween person and over the years I've accumulated a ton to put outside for Halloween and generally I play one of these two games inside on Halloween itself. Personally, I'm still a little bit more partial to ghosts and goblins than ghouls and ghosts just because I played that one first and has a little more nostalgia for me. But I'm also waiting for my berserk and frenzy and my zoltar

Just got my Ghosts and Goblins! I thought it was hard in the arcade but Holy *@#$&! Going to take many many hours to finish this one! Maybe I just suck :(

I got mine a while ago. I love em, but the joysticks dont work well...and I don't mean that in the sense that they are tiny
I had a heck of a time with the broken platforms and the quicksand in the second level of Ghouls 'n Ghosts. Sometimes I’d be moving Arthur to the right and he would just stop. Otherwise, these look great.
