I totally love Ane. I also love how she's on her own record label and just releases all sorts of stuff at random.. Like "oh here is an album drop!" I know she's working on a concert video of her recent tour which should be awesome.
I saw her in concert in London 0ct ‘21, wonderful artist, she moves across so many genres, I think up there with Eivor, Ane performs London again this October, celebrating and performing her music over 20 years ! 😊
Oh yeah . Adam will be a fan of Ane Brun all the way thru for sure. Ane is a significant name in the music industry. She is a song-writer, guitarist, pianist, vocalist, business-woman with her own band and recording company. She is an inspiration for many. Her voice and sounds are superb and haunting. It was indeed a great joy for me watching Ane on her concert in Bergen Norway in Oct.2021. She is a norwegian pride too among many artist like Aurora who has Ane as inspiration. Thank you Adam, for your beautiful language, kind and elegant reactions for great artists in Norway. More power to you. Love from Bergen, Norway🌹🌹🌹

why is all norwegian music compared with aurora? i find this a bit disturbing, tbh. ane was already big long before aurora so it should be the opposite: to compare aurora with her, or susanne sundfor. don't get me wrong, aurora is a good singer, but if i compare her vocal qualities with other artists like ane, susanne, eivor, their range and quality is higher.
I wasn’t comparing her in a sense of saying that Aurora is better, I was just making a point that Norwegian’s (of my experience so far) can have similar sounds to their songs and performances which I adore. All I was saying is I was getting Aurora vibes, that’s literally it. Had I discovered Ane Brun before Aurora, I may be saying her name first. But it’s not about ‘who sounds like who based on who came first’ it’s just highlighting similarities, that’s it. Sorry that you found that ‘disturbing’.
@@AdamStraughan it was not meant to be a harsh critic, sorry for that. you are right that nordic music often has that certain vibe you are talking about. absolutely. but with following different reaction channels, i often have that feeling that people tend to compare everything nordic with aurora which simply feels wrong to me.
thats of course only my personal impression.

@@soleywolfgangsdottir Aurora is 100% up there with Susanne, Silja Sol, Ane Brun and Ingrid(Highasakite) The reason many are comparing everyone to Aurora first I would think it's their age, but who really cares in what order someone gets compared, it doesn't matter, they all shine magically on their own.
