Went to the ER with debilitating abdominal pain. Was probably able to get care so fast because it was LATE at night and spring.
Long story short was shuffling between my room and the bathroom every 15 minutes after treatment.
Which was awkward, because the guy they had in the hallway (that i had to pass 50 times) had gone on a loooong, loud screaming rant about how he was going to harm everyone, had what sounded like been in a mad scramble through the halls, screamed again about having a uterus and going into delivery soon, threatened to sue, and then punched a nurse.
The four beefcake security guards kept him settled the rest of the night.

That dude repeatedly slamming against the bed has my fullest of full sympathies.
I have felt pain this bad before. This is no psychosis or anything like that, it is pain that drives you so insane that wild repetitive movements or even slapping yourself is the only thing you can do. Pain so bad you briefly consider leaving this world.

XD I would need to double check which I am not doing, definitely not watching the beginning of this video again, but I think that might have been a failed enema. They have you lay on your side and hold it for 5 minutes. But if this person was having an issue they might not have been able to, or, the nurse could have just put too much fluid up there, all it takes is one cramp and you ain't making it to that little bucket toilet they put beside the bed!

It took LITERALLY **SIX** security guards, **FOUR** male CNAs, **TWO** male nurses, **TWO** female nurses, and **TWO** male doctors and BOTH his parents to hold him down for the nurse to give him the shot. It took 45mins for them to get him immobilized and give him the shot.

My 1st shift working in the ER I had to take care of a man who received an enema but refused to stay on the commode. He insisted on laying on the cot and when things started flowing it was a hell of a mess.

I was sitting for a patient in one of the locked rooms in the er. I felt my heart drop when the patient came up to the window tapped on it in a creepy way before opening the door no problem. Nearly had a heart attack when he walked out and stared at me. Apparently the nurse forgot to lock it when she left. Haha 😅

Cell phones should NOT be allowed inside hospital waiting or treatment areas and in most places are prohibited (there are often designated areas for that). How horrific to have one's most vulnerable and perhaps worst moments filmed, unknowingly, for the world to see. If it were filmed by a health care professional, they and the establishment they work for could easily be sued. If people had a friend film and post, or a person posted it of themselves, that's one thing, but, being a healthcare worker, ethics and principles alone should have prevented him from posting these clips on his site - especially as a joke. It puts everyone involved at risk for humiliation, violations, fines and more.
