Nice one Ron! I've played this venue myself a couple of times. Had no idea it had been previously graced by this dude!! Lighting didn't get much better over time either!
Another priceless vid! Thank you for sharing it. A rather more extemporized set than usual. I suspect a number of guys in the front couple of rows didn't touch their beers for 45 minutes. [Tyneside, England.]
wow AGAIN, IV'E JUST FOUND THIS, IS THERE A PART 1, I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND IT? i WAS SOOOO LUCKY WHEN iSAAC CAME 2 STAY WITH ME AND MY GIRLFREIND FOR 3 DAYS, HE STAYED OUTSIDE THE HOUSE IN HIS MOBILE HOME! lol bUT HE TAUGHT ME SO MANY OF WHAT HE CALLED "tHE COOL CHORDS" gOD BLESS iSAAC, W ALL MISS U
@@BristolRon Thankx Ron, i know someone in my home town who to be honest has always been a 'tight arse' lol and i KNOW he has two recordings of Isaac playing at the then Cart wheel folk club at Rivelin, Norfolk Arms near Sheffield, but he just wont upload them or even share them....? Anyways, if you find ANY footage of me friend and mentor, please post them! I now have after waiting for 15 yrs to be in a position to afford one, the same model Takemini as Isaac played after the martin, but the difference is it has a cool tube in the pre amp, I have a Roland acoustic amp, and compressor and reverb boss pedal, nearest i can get to isaacs sound! Cheers m8!
I cant imagine what he would sound like now, i remember hearing Swan Song for the 1st time after I heard he died new years eve 2000 at the age of 54, which i will be this Feb! OMG, what an inspiration, i know he knew he had cancer on that performance, and his voice sounded a little thinner, but wow! I have to get as many open MIC's this winter as i can, and play what Isaac taught me and tell people who sadly have never heard this un sung guitar hero, TO JUST LISTEN TO ANY OF HIS SONGS, tHROUGH US ALL is my fave! What a style he had with the guitar and the audience! R>i>p iSAAC, MY OLD FREIND
i didnt know he was ill at the time but after this gig he said make them available when i'm gone i realied the sgnifficace of that statement much later
@@BristolRon Yes, so sad. He came to our shores and folk clubs on the backing for Al Stewart apparently, and just blew the folk clubs away. Every where he played, i would go if it was round Derbyshire where I live. For 3 years he stayed for a couple of days, outside my house in his mob home! Cooking his steak and veg! And in the evening we would play chess, backgammon and guitar! He taught me Surrendel chord 4 chord, I remember him saying, "Ah, u wanna learn those cool chords?!" YEAH!
Yes, I'm amongst that rare breed who is always watching for new Isaac Guillory sets to appear on UA-cam. Thanks for posting!
There's a moment of truth that shines once or twice then its gone.....
Could never imagine Y Isaac only played small venues, when he could pack 2000 to see him, he was SOOOOO good! R.I.P Isaac

Having said that, Isaac liked it that way, up close and personal! What a guy, what a musician!
