sorry for late reply you're comment slip me are talking about the profile for the frame or the bed? if its profile for the frame I'm using the stock frame that came with the x5sa for the bed us 400mm 2020 profile
I think 2 axes is fine, y can easy level with g34 on marlin. If has propretly set z offset probe, it not need set nozzle high and any paper method. Probably faster leveling than on voron.
so whats the fastest speed you can reliably print with this mod? I know its not the fastest, but the stock Tronxy x5sa pro is pretty slow for a core xy
so far 3k acceleration @ 120mm/s print speed 80mm/s wall speed, the limitation here is due to the 8mm rods not being rigid enough so there some flex from the tool head at higher acceleration.
this build is 300x300 I wouldn't recommend going beyond this size. linear rods are not rigid enough for the size rod you will need for that build volume.
Very nice build. Thanks for the detailed information.
Thank you very Much!!
Awesome. Can the Tronxy X5SA be transformed into a Voron 1.8 or trident? I would like to see that if possible.
yes you can pretty easily actually, I'm uploading a video today! stay tuned.
X5s can be easily converted to VzBoT :)
Yes you’re correct I did covert a x5sa into your vzbot :) which I love
hello bro can i ask what size of aluminum profile you used in this build iwant to order those its not listed on your amazon shop thanks

Nice upgrade . Can share stl flie parts ??

How do you add another printer to a single raspberry pi?thanks for the update
I know you can use a program call kiuah to install kilpper as well as had another printer to the same raspberry pi
@@GoldenJaguar3D ok
Ok ok, I want to do this, but what’s it like not having the center bar? Does it cause any weird artifacts in printing?
Why not use Rat rigs kinematic auto leveling bed. Uses 3 z steppers though
That would be awesome, but that would also cost a lot more, this was just easy build, z tilt takes care of leveling the bed pretty well.

How can i speed up original bed heating of x5sa? I need only change bed heater?
Get a silicon heater, it will heat up much faster
Which resistance has it? And how is marked?
what is the build volume of this conversion, im looking into building a 350x350 legacy but i get told that its not a good idea

Its not voron style at all, only head but nice.
I can assure you it’s a voron legacy look it up.
Seem all those build has not real value to try, bacause no enclose. So its usefull only for PLA and PLA usefull only into shredder.
@@martinhyska1206 You can also use it for PETG, I've printed CF Nylon in the open with just heated bed and glue.
yee and then open all windows a leave room for 6 hours.
@@martinhyska1206 i print abs in open air in the room i sleep in, never had a problem
