Such a unique surfer drawing different lines could watch this all day. Wish i was at G-land when he was so i could off brought one of his boards!!! Surfers today are SO CONSERVATIVE ...this guy and his experimental visions are decades ahead of the $800 Lost and Merrick designs that everybody surfs pretty shit on. So hard to find a shaper in Australia thats even close to Ryan. Love your work mate and dont let the 99% of corporate surfing bullshiet ever bother you... some how I dont think it does Ha ha. Hope to catch-up one day
Hey Ryan, It's really cool to see some of your dads surfing style has transferred to you. I'm sure he's looking over you and is so proud of your character, accomplishments & surfing skills! Peace Brother!
What a great spot to test your boards at! Way to go Ryan, that was some super solid tube riding and high speed maneuvering. Looks like you're making some great surfboards.
Just shows that it's the indian not the arrow. That dude is an amazing athlete and makes strange boards look like they work well. You go boy, this vid was very entertaining.
kind of disagree, go to his website and see how much science and fact goes into making his boards, hes made tons of them and always goes to his best arrows, a good hunter can make a better arrow and still use a shitty arrow i guess, but this guy makes great shit and knows his shit
+Bond Summers i agree, just at a quick glance it seems like itgives a really sharp fast turn in one direction, lets say a forehand bottom turn (his bottom turn was the main thing i noticed) then when you go to the other rail for a forehand topturn you lose out in comparrison to the bottom turn. i also would assume that board can only be used on a left and he would have a mirror one for going on rights, not terribly practical on a split peak. although guys like that could probably surf an iron board better than I can surf a regular board:L
This vid never gets old
Sure doesn't. Can't believe its been six years. We need a burch update!

sooooo.0 GOOOD
RIPPING! Dig the music go get it at www.ridingeasyrecords.com
I have a doubt, what is the function of three fins board??
Trippy, but I don't see surfing advantage with these shapes. I like a nice geometric 'pure' shape, the standard idea basically.
