Agents was so popular that they almost single handedly saved the struggling old school dance hall culture at the time of Disco and Rock.
Topi Sorsakoski (real name Pekka Tammilehto) was one of the best singers of that genre in Finland. Unfortunately he passed away in 2011 in the age of 58.

Topi sorsakoski once visited our home,well, my mother told that, probably my father never knew lol, i was little kid back then. When topi died, our classroom was silent as heck, we were like14-15 years old and everyone of us knew who he was... me and my friend still playing his songs while being at the lake or drinking

The band Agents was founded in the fall of 1979. Band members: Esa Pulliainen (guitar), Hans Etholén (accompanying guitar), Juha Takanen (drums), Jukka Ollila (keyboards; later Eero Ojanen) and Esa's brother Kai Pulliainen (bass).
Agents' second soloist in the early 1980s was Pekka Tammilehto alias "Topi Sorsakoski".
The collaboration between Topi Sorsakoski and Agents ended in August 1992. There were over a thousand gigs and five albums behind them. All records sold gold and four reached the platinum mark.
Esa Pulliainen, a stylist and guitar virtuoso, was responsible for arranging the songs.
Topi returned as a soloist in 2007 for one album and a tour.
Topi died on August 13, 2011.

Excellent reaction! When I was young I heard this artist many many times and wondered who listens this kind of crap. 20 years later starting to play guitar at old age and of course Esa Pulliainen (guitarist) is one of the best one so started to listen this crap more. Now I have bought all the vinyls I get my hands on.
Agents & Ville Valo you might want to check out also, ikkunaprinsessa and paratiisi(older versions). At least ikkunaprinsessa has also Spanish subtitles. You'll find it with ""Agents & Ville Valo Ikkunaprinsessa Subtitulos Finés Español" Both versions have Esa with that iconic guitar
Once we were in dancing hall and Topi should be singing there. He wasn't angents singer anymore then. And Topi was drinking in boat and his band played set and half way on second set Topi came singing so drunk that barelly can stand

Nowadays singer of agents is Ville Valo. Ville Valo use to be singer of rockband called HIM. You should listen Ville Valo& agents. When love and death embrace. That song is old hit from HIM.(His Infernal Majesty)
Valo was only with them for a year or so, one tour I think. Vesa Haaja has been the latest long time singer altough Maustetytöt did tour with them last year. I think guitarist Esa Pulliainen has been touring with MrBreathles lately, but I'm interested to see whats next on the Agents front!
