I went to dance recitals for 16 years. My daughter’s were in dance classes for 16 years.
Look at it this way Cole, you get to go, clap in the proper places and leave. Me, I paid for those lessons, I paid for the costumes and I also helped backstage with hair and makeup. Cole, your getting off easy.
You two are going to be with each other forever.
Both of You are willing to "bend" for the other.
Sharing life is what it is all about.

I have 7 nieces ranging in age of 26 to 2 years old right now it's a lot of softball for the 10 and 13 year old nieces. A good aunt acts like a proud mama and you're a good aunt.

dear Cole & Nave - you did a very good thing for those girls. They will remember that YOU were there for them. All that work was not in vain. It brought back a lot of wonderful memories for me and my daughter. Thanks for sharing this recital. Love you guys.
OMG I remember those events. My daughter was into dance for about 6 years. The recitals were held in a major auditorium that would hold about 4 thousand parents and friends and every seat was full. In the early years we would leave at intermission. Then as she got in the older jazz and other dance troupes, we had friends hold us seats and we showed up after intermission for my daughter’s parts. Thank goodness when she turned about sixteen, she found boyfriends and that was the end of dance. Now that I think back on it maybe staying in dance would have been easier. Thanks for the vlog and tell Cole I feel his pain.
Hahaha honestly we would do the same if they were only in one half. But the way they did it they had them dance in each act so we had to stay till the end. Smart on their part haha. It was a joy watching the girls! ☺️😅
Old Dude, this old dude shares the same pain when my daughter was in dance and later in color guard/flag waving dance and I was the guy that hauled all the props to competions. Whew glad those days are over.

Omg! Cole reminded me of my husband, in the beginning he used to get mad at me for buying something a little extra.for me.. This is why I have my own checking account with my own money 🤑 and he does too. It's my 💰 and I buy what I want! Love your videos! btw you guys are super cute 🥰

Cole should get used to Nave sleeping on road trips. It takes about 20 miles for my wife to conk out in the passenger seat.

Just read all 96 comments & this popped in my head, Jesus "went" to a wedding, apparently without a date, his MOM was there & surely He was not the center of attention. That is what we do for the ones we love. Cole, you will be a GREAT dad one day, looking forward to it.

That’s so awesome! My wife owns a dance studio…ages 3-18, 130 girls. She had her recital last month. We also go out to eat Mexican food afterwards!!! 😊 She also has a Christmas show with a shortened Nutcracker and a living Nativity. 💙

Ha. It's funny Cole said he spoke to the dog in english and spanish. There is a dog in our neighbor that is often out and chasing people on bikes. Years ago I would talk to her in english but she didn't listen. I found out later she knows spanish.🤣 Love your channel Nave. Love Cole the Cornstar and DC too!!

I agree 100% with Cole! Dance recitals are the most boring thing ever! I went through 8 years with my daughter dancing and competing so every other year was a travel year for competition, which meant my vacation that year was a dance competition that took 3-5 days of my life I can never get back. I was glad when my son was born, because he gave me an excuse to exit stage right!!!

LOL and just last month I sat through my 5 year old grandaughters 4 hour dance recital, naturally her group was right in the middle of the 4 hour mark! No sneaking out for me lol
