    I bought this bag for Amazon for $65. In this video we show you how this bag differs from more expensive bags. And while it costs less than most bags, it doesn't mean it's inferior. This could be a good option for budget travelers.

    I just ordered this bag in black today only I didn’t order the packing cubes that came with it I ordered just the bag and a set of compression packing cubes. I normally carry a 30 L backpack That isn’t doing the job anymore so this will be my first 40 L backpack. I’m excited to not have to stuff my bag

      Nice! There's definitely no need to use the Hynes Eagle cubes with this pack.

    Great stuff! What was that daypack you mentioned that zips up?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  5 років тому +1

      The packable daypack I used in the video is the 20L Outlander Packable Daypack. They make a bigger 35L one that's pretty good too.

      I ended up getting the 38L one. I hope it works for my needs, if not, I will be going up to the 40L.

    Hey I've been eyeing this bag as well as the amazon basic one I wanted to know if I wanted to use this as a personal bag if i want a carry on luggage bag can this fit under the seat? And how is the wear and tear do you think its easy to rip or get damaged?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  5 років тому +1

      It's kind of hard to say whether it will fit under the seat or not. It really depends on the airline. For example Spirit Airlines has restrictions of 18" x 14" x 8", while RyanAir is 15.7" x 9.8" x 7.9". The Hynes Eagle 40 is 21.1" x 13.4" x 9.8, it will fit easily into the overhead of most airlines, but it's probably a tad big for under the seat.
      As far as the wear and tear, there are always going to be trade-offs when buying an inexpensive bag. And how well the bag holds up largely depends on how you use it. This bag is made out of a lightweight polyester, so it's never going to be as durable as a more sturdy bag made out of nylon.
      If you're rough on your gear, or you plan to travel a lot, then you probably want to buy something a little sturdier. But if you don't travel often, or just want something inexpensive to get you going then this bag or the Amazon Basics is going to be fine.

      I have this bag. I *think* it would fit under the seat. I've always placed it above me. I did rip a small hole in mine... but I'm really rough with my stuff. I was over filling it and then very non-delicately zipping the bag. That said... I like my bag and and continue to recommend to all my friends.

    Whats better the Hynes Eagle or ebags weekend mother jr ?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  4 роки тому +2

      The eBags Weekender Jr is a better bag, but it's also more expensive (I'ts on sale for $89.99 right now). I wanted to highlight the Hynes Eagle pack to show you there are decent inexpensive bags available. Check out my video on the Motherlode, ua-cam.com/video/4-l_BCoAvX8/v-deo.html

    Does this one count as a personal item ?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  5 років тому +1

      The 40L bag is probably a little too big for a personal item.

      @@user-cu2yi6ts5e Maybe if that's all you had. But if you have socks, underwear, toiletries, electronics etc. then probably not.

    Hi! What material are the backpack strap clasps at the bottom of the bag? Plastic or metal? Thank you 😊

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  5 років тому +1

      It's a plastic quick attach clip with a metal keeper. It attaches to a plastic D-ring. I have a picture of it on my site. It's towards the middle of the page, in a collage photo. =)

    Can u packing stuff or goods about 7kg ?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  5 років тому

      Sure, you can pack it with less than 7kg (15.4 lbs) of weight. This one is a little heavier than the 38L bag, it weighs 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs.). So you only have an extra 5.9 kg (13 lbs) to work with. It's not a lot, but if you pack light, don't have a lot of heavy electronics, it's possible. =)
