I hope that they really dig into public transportation as a way of fast travel. Would be cool if that airport could be functional in that way as well for long distance travel if the map is big enough.
Imagine looking out the plane window in first person and it looks like something you see when in a plane in real life, that would be so epic and then liberty gets closer and after leaving that airport you see all these huge skyscrapers. I don't want any loading screens though, it shouldn't be hard to do that.
If plane is uninterrupted during flight then it will do it's normal thing, there'll be at least 5 or 6 big planes at a time in the sky, if they are shot down they respawn 2 real life minutes later at the airport, players can also take control from inside or sneak onto the plane post boarding.
Airport security will be made so that you can go through the process or pay a vip fee to get on unchecked through something that you can set up through illegal means, like a person who works at they airport works for you.
“State of Leonida” vs “Los Santos” No doubt this map they are gonna expand on drastically.
At this stage speculation hints that there will be two states; Leonida and Jorisa (Florida and Georgia)
Vice City and Port Gellhorn will be the cities in Leonida and a third city Yorktown (the size of Los Santos in gta 5) will be in Jorisa.
There also hints at other smaller towns that will be scattered around the map too
IRL, around the Florida area, you have 2 permanent tracks (Sebring and Daytona) and one street track built in Miami, around the Hard rock stadium, made for Formula 1. Personally I’d like to believe that the Port Gelhorn track is a parody of Sebring.
I would love to see diversity in terrains like for example supercars wont be able to drive in mud or grass so youd have to upgrade the wheels and suspension to be able to do so i feel like that would add so much realism and fun for customizing cars
if you are a veteran GTA player..the more excited you are about GTA 6 and the more you know about GTA 6 you can compare GTA 1 to GTA 6 it has changed a lot and the graphics are very realistic the more you appreciate GTA nostalgic moments...different from new players they are just hype but they don't appreciate it.....

My only worry is if they add a map boarder but never expand then were left with a map border that turns our plane around or our cars can't go further meaning players won't want to visit the upper map areas.
The fact that people can put together a map from coordinates is crazy. 😮
Hearing that there’s a possible harpoon gun that’s going to be in the game, along with all of the water that’s on the map. I’m extremely hopeful that there will be far more underwater easter eggs this time around, maybe some kind of living undersea beast? Maybe at the furthest depths, there’s a secret research base! There’s so much potential for the sea in this game, especially with the inclusion of a Bermuda Triangle-esque area, there’s so much they could do!
Rockstar wasted so much potential with the gta 5 map they should’ve just had the San Andreas map on steroids and made all 3 cities bigger
They made so much off online they said let’s not even put the time into anything extra.

@@user-cb5rr9zi7v I will say it’s gonna be better than 5 at least. May not have everything people want but they always make ahead of their time games. I think they will make 7 one day. It’s just gonna be a good while before they do.
I get what your saying the map felt empty, I think they wanted to go for scale over the density, keep in mind that gta 5 was a ps3/Xbox 360 title so I doubt they could do 3 cities on that hardware, gta 6 will be on the ps5/Xbox series and it looks like it’s gonna take place in a fictional version of Florida (leonida)
They still can look at GTA 6 map that's like adding San Fierro 🌁 Las Ventruas to los Santos rn with 3 more NEW Citys the concept map for GTA 5 it was Oakland Sac & Reno

There was an idea I saw on the mapping project forum that involved using mobile homes as actual bases you can stash items/weapons and sleep in (like camping in RDR2). I think it would be an great substitute instead of having the player take long drives from one side of the map to another to drop off or pick up items, and especially for people who don't enjoy fast travelling.
People: we what realism and emersion.
Also the same people: we want to be able to fast travel, which completely breaks emersion and realism.
I'm really hoping that there is a whole island off to the side like Cuba or something and I can do a drug running missions and we can fly there whenever we want, but we need a passport like you said. Maybe Lucia goes to visit her grandparents. The street signs all in Spanish, radio stations will be different. I mean there's a lot that can be done. And you mentioned the Bermuda triangle, maybe if you take a boat out to the island at 3-4am and you are in the middle of the ocean... you'll start seeing things and you get lost in a bunch of clouds that form around your boat and you drown a whirlpool hahaha

I hope the cities around it will make it worth it to travel because in GTA 4 the map was all city and no countryside which disappointed people who came from playing San Andreas and in GTA 5 everyone stayed in Los Santos because there's nothing interesting up in Blaine County besides Mount Chiliad. So I hope there are more cities to make it worth the travel and that the countryside would be well improved so that it'll be interesting to travel through. What I want from GTA 6 is for there to be a balance between city and countryside and not just all city or empty countryside.

There was the mission online where we had to steal Coke from inside a yacht , hopefully all boats in GTA6 will have similar interiors
I would prefer it to be a big island, they can always design the map to where it would be easy for them to implement and expand the land mass further up if they wanted
I would like to see the airports used as a sort of fast travel, if they ever decides to add map expansions, it would be really cool if you could hop on a plane and fly to San Andreas, or Liberty City. It would be especially cool if you didn't just get a cut scene and some pretty shots of the plane (like rdr2's train) but you could also just hop on and watch everything happen in real time.
The GTA 6 map looks like a pork chop 🥩, it just needs some rice to come with it

Wait a minute, wait a minute….. In the first gta 6 trailer the hamlet correctional institution is right in front of a city(probably Vice city)…. In the mapping project there is no close city near by…. You can see this at 6:58 of the video, which goes to show the mapping project is a hoax
The GTA6 map doesn't neccesarly have to be bigger than GTA5's, just more dtailed and less empty in my opinion... But damn, if they'll give us a bigger and better map then its going to be 🔥🔥
The Florida countryside is empty though... It's mostly trees and more trees. I know this because I live in Miami and have been to the country side
I really lots of cool side quests. Like serial killer Easter like hunting Aileen wyunos or something and mythical creature/ haunted things going on.

Hunt for the harbour master. The harbour master is a feared hammerhead shark that the locals arnt sure exists or not. Pretty sure I read this somewhere once

4:39 that one strip you are referring to is Ocean drive and that is basically the Main Street/attraction to south beach.. in real life it’s only 3 main streets in south beach Ocean Drive, Collins Ave and Washington
In real life a lot happens on ocean drive but not on the other blocks so it would actually be accurate if Ocean drive was more busy and way more happening than the other areas of south beach
All i gotta say is they gotta connect vice city to Liberty 🗽
It would be cool if they added dragon in gta 6 . I wanna be able to ride the dragon and have it breath fire so I can set npc on fire . Also wanna see a unicorn , a liger, megladon and godzilla

Could the top boarder be state lines and Lucia ankle monitor prevent you from crossing state lines and not just county/city limits

Nobody asks this. If we have an airport & planes are usable, where would the other airports be located?
They have multiple airports not that far from each other in Florida so I imagine they will be like that with maybe an Island like Cuba you can fly too as well.
