    What I usually do in my shadowing practice is to watch a tv series and then use some parts to practice. It is amazing how you can improve the pronunciation and memorize those words at the same time.

    I live in the USA. Back in the 1980s I practiced an immersion-type method using the technology of that era. My aunt in Ireland used to send me cassette tapes of programs recorded from the Irish Language (Gaelic) radio service. News, weather reports, interviews, music, etc. I would listen to these tapes over and over (mostly in the car) to get a sense of the sounds and rhythms of the language. You are so right about entering into the soul of a language this way. Yes--it works!
    (Your ability to relax, not worry, have fun, and enjoy language learning is great! Love your YT channel!)

    Hi Pearly, that was an absolutely brilliant video! You are becoming a natural. As someone who has followed you right from the beginning, I can see how you have progressed. Plus it was so useful to see you shadowing! Wow! Thank you so much! I always wondered how you got such good pronunciation in so many languages! (Oh, though I must point this out and don’t worry as even a lot of English people get this word wrong, it’s not ‘pronOUnciation’ it is said how it is spelt: ‘’pronUnciation’). I love your videos Pearly! Keep them coming. You are getting more and more fabulous! xxx

      In my humble opinion, I recommend you to learn 1 or 2 at most, one is better though, because you have to focus on one thing, is much better then learn different things like languages and get confused, maybe after that you can't even master or speak all of them and that will make disappointed, honestly this is my opinion if you can do that it's up to you bro

    • @moayad_zh
      @moayad_zh 2 місяці тому

      She was speaking the Egyptian dialect! I'm from Saudi Arabia, I'm not a language teacher but most Arabic countries teach their children Arabic in MSA(modern standard Arabic which is fusha) and they usually speak in their dialect with family or locals, but most people can make their accent weaker for you to understand easily if you find it difficult, in my opinion you can learn fusha first and learn the dialect you like the most or the dialect of a friend, a lot of learners choose the Egyptian dialect because of how popular Egyptian movies and shows are in the Arab world 😁
